    Don't get excitied. DP is not actually available for sale. Just a question from all you guys, if it would have been available for sale, how much you can spend to buy the domain. (DP will only be available for sale in your dreams:p).

    I would have spend $1,000.

    WHAT?! $5k is an insult to be true :p

    DigitalPoint is at least worth 500,000k+ relatively speaking. Admins can easily reach out to literally millions of people (members + guests) in a single click of a button (or a couple) ~ that's power worth more than $5k ;)

    I don't see anything wrong in this thread. I am not selling, just taking views from all. I don't think so it is not allowed.

    I read an article in a Tech Magizine and they described DP as the world's biggest webmaster forum.

    digital point, if it were unregistered and had no site wouldnt have much value at all. we all know it does now, being PR7 and alexa rank circa 2,000... but that isnt the question.

    As a domain name alone its worth reg fee, or reg fee +10$ at most.

    you can register MILLIONS of simiar domain names still, so why is it worth more than any of those..

    It would easily crack the 10 Million Mark seeing the amount of traffic It receives,The tremendous amount of Revenue It generates through Advertising and the Age of the Domain name.
    10 million would be easily cracked.

    We are members of DP, and we should respect it for the free platform it has given us to interact. I don't see any point to discuss how worth it is. By starting a thread like this, we will only damage the dignity of DP.

    The domain name alone is worth more then 5k, dnScoop domain name value is going up as high has 25mill and that's for the name only

    DP is a 10 year old domain
