What is the best way to make more money using Adsense?

I am new at using Adsense and I was wondering if I could get some advice as what to do with my blogs to get more traffic and make more with Adsense. Any suggestions are welcome

make sure your blog is SEOed.

If you are using wordpress, look at the Optimal Title plugin, the Auto Sitemap plugin, and change your permalinks to only the post title

I think content plays a huge role here - research hot topics in your niche/area and write articles around them... I made $x.xx the other day just off of posting one article on something popular in one of my genres (lots of hits to that page, recorded by my weblogs) So if you can find something popular, write about it, and SEO it, you're in good shape.

The best way is to design your site with adsense in mind. That includes the topic of your site - base it on keywords that adsense pays well for and have a decently high search volume.

 

hey guys i heard insurance makes alot of money per click, but i dont own any insurance company, but i do wanna create a site to help people choose insurance, would google end up giving same amount of $ per click as people trying to sell insurance? And will i probably get enough traffic( having place my ads well and making my iste look good and simple)

 

I disagree. The best way to make good money is quality content and LOTS of it. SEO is absolutely not all that important anymore in this day and age of web 2.0

 

This may not be the BEST way but it's sure a lot quicker in seeing the returns than SEO. It's advertising - use AdWord, Yahoo Search Marketing, adCenter ... pick your favorite PPC. People call it Google arbitrage, Adwords arbitrage, traffic arbitrage, etc. There are a lot of critics of this method but it works for me.

Let's say we both wrote a new article for our PR5 site. You focus only on extreme SEO and I only add a proper title and description and ask my buddy with a PR7 blog and RSS feed to include it in his blog. Now let's see how long it takes for you to increase the search ranking for that page and let's see how high the ranking is of your page after 4 weeks compared to mine.

You have your head stuck in too many outdated site promotion articles.

 

Depends on the topic of your blog. If it's a general purpose "here's what happened in my life today" blog, even good SEO won't help get you more traffic. On the other hand, if your blog is focused on a specific topic for which Google has good ad inventory, your good content and good SEO can be expected to help improve traffic and revenue.

In my opinion,you should write only one small thing in your blog.Because there are so many blogs.There are various of content.So who would read your blog?
Write it with your passion. Let the small one become a big one. Someone who wants to read about it will come to you.Because you have the greatest content.
