Hi, please tell me if this is to much to get in trouble with Google. My site is about 2 years old and has a PR level of 1. I'm just starting SEO. I'm starting to request links from quality sites and I'm getting some good feedback. My question is, do you think my website link being added to about 4 or 5 sites a day will get me in trouble with Google? I mean, I wouldn't think they would see me as spam since I've been around for awhile, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
well if i was doing some link building like that and they were one way links from related sites i would be happy to get 1 link a day. If the site is related you will gain a lot of power from that link.
No shouldn't be any pb with this small amount of bls. However if you want to keep looking natural and hence progressing well, you need to keep up or even better have your #bls per day increasing. good luck
These are not 1 way links they are 2... Maybe I'll take it a bit slower and just add 1 a day so that it won't kill me to keep up with it... Going at this pace... How long do you think it will take me to get to PR 2?
Since you are passing all the link juice back to the site that's linking to you, reciprocal linking is not going to raise your page rank. 5 or more links per day is not going to show on google's radar, so don't worry about that. Also, keep in mind that Page Rank updates dictate how long it will take until you see any changes, not the speed of your own efforts.
Shouldn't hurt, but try not to do exactly 5 a day. Vary it over time... some days less, some days more. Generally, if it's done manually as you're doing, you should not raise any red flags. It's the automated systems and services that get you 1000s in one shot or very quickly that throws G into fits.
that is a fesk idea, "some days less, some days more"...but, how many links to others is the best status for a site?
If you do 5 reciprocal links a day you will soon be linking out to hundreds of sites. This will make your site look like a spam site/link farm. Try to get one-way links as much as you can. As for how many... As long as you vary it slightly but keep it around the same amount each day you should be fine.
It's Ok to get reciprocal links as long as it is not the majority of your bls. At a certain % or threshold (which i dont really know ) this may trigger SE filters. See the blog "seo by the sea", bill slawsky just wrote a quite detailed article on that subject.
I think U can add your link in much more sites. I submit my site in almost 30-40 directories a day and it works.I can share with You a free directory submission list. vmoptions.com/directory-list.php
i think you have a good dream. but i guess u should start with 1 or 2 ..... , or else you need to buy from a agents...
I think that site's submission to a free directory is the most safe way to get one way link and not to draw google's attention. In other case google can decide that many one-way links from another relevant sites, which have a hight PR are purchased.
GMBRDILOS What is the pr of your site? Has this pr been achieved just/largely with directory links? I'm not knocking what you say - just am genuinely interested to see if lots of directory submissions are worth all the effort.
It is no problem at all. My nine months old blog have more than 21k backlinks and it is PR3 now. It supposed to get higher PR but I have given too much links as it is dofollow and giving sitewide links to my top commentators and top ec droppers. I think there is not a problem as many people are doing their best to get their site listed top in search engine. Even, google webmaster tool is made to help you. Make use of it.
Quality links can never get you in trouble, no matter how many they are. However I would be really interested how are you going to get 5 quality inbound links every day (unless they are reciprocal, and even then)
