For those of you that are into phpLD Link Directory, there is a new post on the Madmouse Blog which covers the process of downloading the PHP Link Directory script, uploading it, installing it and the basic configuration required to get it working.

    Hope you like it. Thanks...

Nice work, although that Adsense banner at the bottom couldn't be much worse could it?

    Brian,

When you wrote your instructions for phpLD, which version was current? Also, if it wasn't the latest version which version, was version was it and has anything changed in the installation process?

    Hi,

From the page"we have used phpld 3.2 for this guide."

The current version is 3.3 and a number of people have used this guide for installing 3.3 so all should be ok.

    Thanks Brian

make sure you have .htaccess in there

    if you do, then add

    RewriteBase /

    right after

    RewriteEngine On

if you still have the problem, comment out the

    Options +FollowSymLinks

    like this

    #Options +FollowSymLinks

if you still have the same problem, comment out the

    Options -Indexes

    like this

    #Options -Indexes

Instead of tutorials being rewrite, someone needs to start a troubleshooting blog, site ro whatever, to help people with these things.
