USA has witnessed what it's like to be under terrorist attack, for just one day in its great history. 9-11 if ya'll recall. It amazes me that the Indians here who have been suffering from the Muslim terror so long don't show their support too.
This is a fight against a destructive terror organization, that has been doing suicide bombs for the last years. They have been shooting missiles to a civil population for the last 8. This is a what Bush has announced as a war against terror... Israel is performing it for him, as simple as that.

USA supports Israel and gives it very specified boundaries regarding "do's and don'ts" - while one of the do's is air striking known terrorist activity areas... civilians are in this case - just collateral damage for justified attacks.

Is one of the do's bombing known UN operations in elementary schools, than saying you did it because you were being fired on from the school, then admiting you weren't really being fired on from the school?

If it is than we need to rethink some things.

I don't know the complete story, but even if a mistake was made, this is one of many many air strikes targeted at the terrorist activity areas.
We have a strong airforce, but it's not like we can be 100% accurate when fighting against an army which uses children as a human shield.

Ok, what about the incident where the two UN workers were shot dead in their UN marker truck?

I'm not on either side of this because both sides fight dirty... and for that reason it annoys me when someone claims that one side is so superior to the other. In my opinion they are both wrong, whenever it turns to violence to try to fix a problem both sides are in the wrong. And don't give me the were just defending ourselves crap from either side, there are other solutions and you know it.

Why does America like Israel so much? What made you think so?
Could be that America doesn't need to like Israel so much; but that
the presence of Israel in that part of the middle east is so crucial
for America to not lose hold on very strategic vital facilities and
resources known to abound in that area. Could be a slightly different
story once America will succeed in firming up its hold in the heart of
Baghdad, as evidenced by the huge embassy that it is presently setting
up in that part of the mideast.

not at all. I think people know what is they being fed with. Don't get me wrong, I have protested against wrongs I felt were made in other parts of the world. I have a site for acting on darfur and feel very strongly about every action that I feel is unjust... I just want people to hear from me, ex-IDF that brings out side of the story that the media doesn't always show the public. I want people to investigate deeper, and make up their own mind. There's a huge difference between protesting against too-harsh of a retaliation, and saying that Israel is aggressive and has any kind of interest of harming innocent civilians.

That UN school has been used to shoot Israel many times before. There's a video about it. About the current attack - The Spokesman for the IDF claimed there has been shooting from that school, they also gave the names of the two brothers who were in charge of it and were killed.

I can honestly say that I'm not sure about what exactly happened there myself and If no one was really shooting from that school at the time it is a horrible mistake. At the same time I recommend all of us to use our logic. Israel is currently suffering from a massive amount of bad reputation toward it due to pictures of dead children, would it really need to shoot a school and create another catastrophe unless it was seriously needed? It is controversial, and it could have been a mistake, but I can't really say I know anything for sure about this incident.

Unnecessary America is earning more and more hates from the Arabs, this will definitely create more terrorists, in turn we will not see peace in the world shortly.

Look at this website http://www.ifamericansknew.org/ I was shocked to see the fact and figures, and I don’t understand why US is so supportive to Israel?

Only this week, I learned more about this issue after reading this "How Palestine Became Israel" http://www.ifamericansknew.org/history/ref-nakba.html

God bless the world, God bless every human!

Source: http://gracethrufaith.com/selah/prophecy/i-will-bless-those-who-bless-you/ A Bible Study by Jack Kelley “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:2-3) ” ‘The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you are but aliens and my tenants. Throughout the country that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption of the land. (Leviticus 25:23-24) n modern times Israel’s first benefactor was Great Britain. The Balfour Declaration of 1917 made the creation of the modern nation possible. The Lord had given the British lands that spanned the globe. “The sun never sets on the British Empire,” was their legitimate boast. But in 1938 when they suddenly changed their tune and began a period of open hostility toward Israel things changed. Today most of that Empire is gone and Britain is no longer the dominant world power. And now it seems like the US is learning a similar lesson. In the 14 years since the Madrid Conference began, a series of “natural” disasters have struck the US, each on the heels of something we did or helped do that runs contrary to God’s declaration concerning the real ownership of the Land of Israel. I’ve listed them below. Contd at Source Source: http://gracethrufaith.com/selah/prophecy/i-will-bless-those-who-bless-you/

Saying all that, I always asked myself do you study geography in school at all? Because, an average Joe is very poor when it comes to the world/map/countries outside US, maybe inside too, I dont know. Do you agree?

Ive heard long time ago that "democracy" in America lets pupils choose what subjects they want to study, and I was always jealous a few years ago about this and that I didnt have this opportunity in my school, but hey, geography is must have subject, now I changed my point of view when I grew up.

Both are developed and civilized countries [YMMV].

Also often people from Israel look somewhat similar to people from USA and maybe able to pass off as one.

Spot the chick from USA. ;)

Explain to us again why you post a list of Jewish persons in the US government and then tell how how you hate Zionists.

Then what the fuck are you posting a list of JEWS for?

It is so sickening to watch your hatred of Jews and how that mentality is what keeps the Palestinians without a state. Stop supporting terrorists like Hamas and let the Palestinians have their State already. I guess you would rather see someone attacking Israel than see the Palestinians living in peace. Shameful.

Have you read the title of the thread ? Why does the USA like Israel so much? --- Why I have posted the list ? I think USA like israel so much because of its lobby .. Because of Jews in USA who work , study and try to do their best to support israel ..

That is why I have posted the list..

Regarding to you comments .. I don't hate Jews .. Repeating of your comment will not make you the right ...
