Great Updates by Google!

I have one designer outfits site with PR0 as well as 0 back links in last month, but now it got PR 4 with 5 back links. It is a great updates by Google.

Google not shows all back links. you have lot of back links, that's why you gain PR.

 

You have had quality backlinks. I think that's the reason why.

 

If you want high PR so do work hardly and get Quality back link in Google !!!

 

This also happened on one of my site. But no remarkable traffic from GOOGLE after this PR change.

I think this guys replied your question but you must check other search engines like yahoo and other than you can know the real back link ratio . May be you got good pr back links related to your niche and that's why your pr went up .

Great work...not just great google. The work doe not stop there though, google is continually updating the SERPs so keep your links and content rolling in.

Well.. The PR doesn't only depend on the backlinks. There are other factors to consider like quality content,etc.

 

Yes the PR depends on so many things, your site images, your site contents and meta tags description. Not only backlinks can increase the PR.

 

see your webmasters tool you may find more backlinks or try yahoo site explorer

 

The PR is updated in real time. The change which you see is only toolbar pagerank. Toolbar pagerank is updated only a few times a year but the time period in which is updated has nothing in common with the real pagerank updates. Toolbar pagerank is only information for webmasters and is not used for the page ranking.

From this reason you should not expect big SERPs changes when is the toolbar pagerank updated

I also checked my sites in other search engines link yahoo I got 78 yahoo back links…
However, there is no any good change in Google position after increasing the PR. It is still in 30th position in google. In other SE's it is 1st position on Msn and 37th position on yahoo…

I did an experiment over 4 months and found that a single text link from with pr4 can give another external webpage pr3


SERPs rely upon keywords, anchor text, content etc but does page rank really?

 

PR is mainly useful when selling the site, however it is very satisfactory to see PR4 in your toolbar!

 

try to get more links than that

 

You might have high google pr links linked to it, but it is still very strange.

 

Maybe your backlinks have PR6 or Pr5 links.
