    That is the short answer.
Stormpay and paypal dropped all such companies.
So those that are still active use other pay processors and as such, there is no way that you can get your money if they refuse to pay.
Seems to be quite a few running around now that never pay out, and when push comes to shove, just shut down.

And who in the world would surf such a program?
Terrible way to get traffic, which is the big drawback of autosurfs that pay, as no decent advertiser would spend the bucks on such crap.

I used to be a member of two of those sites which were scams. They both refer to a page now with ads on them.

    http://gpromote.com
    http://advertise-pays.com

    I wonder who owned them...

They were paying 3-5 cents per click and had lots of links. I was up to about 12 dollars when they shut down.

You are better of spending your time doing other things online, like building a site and joining some good affiliate programs to promote on it.

Paid to Surf and Paid to Read Email programs are mostly all scams and pay pennies.

I used to do this on alladvantage (i think this was their name). I actually remember getting a check for $100 or so. Keep in mind though, this was 2000-2001.

i forgot to add that one of the BIGGEST paid to programs at the moment is Treasure Trooper. Its a paid to signup program and you can easily make a few hundred $ per month with a few refs. Make sure you use a spam email though. http://www.treasuretrooper.com

Yeah, remember them....wife and I used to get checks every month until they shut down.

Until the big fiasco with stormpay and 12daily, I made some damn good money with all of them....then poof!
Last year, with several closing down, studio traffic not paying, in two months, lost over $xx,xxx.

Yes that is true. There is also alot of them kids setting up these 3rd tier ppc search engines and PTR sites. They think they can make some good money doing it and then find out that they can't and are loosing out and then stop paying their affiliates.

That is why most PTR and 3rd Tier ppc search engines are a waste of time and are scams.

most of them cant figure what will be viable and what not. Treasure Trooper is definately NOT one of these programs. It makes me hundreds of dollars a month and its really easy for those who want to make some extra cash on the side.

I find that alot of the webmasters that own them 3rd tier ppc search engines and PTR sites are not that professional at what they do.

There sites are down quite alot some times. Their english is not that good when they send emails that sometimes it is hard to understand what they mean.

You refer alot of 2nd tier affiliates to them to help them out and if they cheat the system they delete your account plus theirs. Also sometimes you could refer 50 or more 2nd tier affiliate signups their way and then they move to a new script and you have to sign up again and you loose all of your referrals and they don't care.

There is alot of cr*p that goes on in these type of sites. I know there are some good ones aswell, but alot of them are just scams and are not professional.

yeah its amazing what a large memberbase these programs can get when they only offer like a couple of cents per email.

Thats why Treasure Trooper is one of a kind. The revenue generated from it is big dollars and not cents. Plus it is managed by a serious team of webmasters. No wonder they have almost 150 000 members!
