adsense for joke site

Hello Guys,

I have a joke site. It has 4k-5k page impressions per day and i got 40 - 60 click per day but i only got $0.01 - $0.05 per click so my average adsense per day is range $0.60 - $2. Any advise on how to improve this guys? How can i improve my cpc. The joke site is not an english site.

Can I assume that the site is Filipino or with Tagalog language? Anyway, I suppose it's not a language problem. I think your niche will not attract ad clickers. This is because readers will enjoy your content, and even laugh hard. They might ignore the ads, or even be annoyed while reading your jokes.

Please note that visitors will only click ads when they need them, and when they notice them.

Just my 2 cents though.

You can check for high paying keywords, and re-phrase some of your jokes with that keywords.

I am not so sure how you can do that.

 

That's the price jokes sites go... it's not a high paying niche.

 

I had a Joke website for 6 months and that is what it pays, sorry but it won't get better

 

What i can say is that try to use quality keywords in our jokes where ever you get some suitable place . This is a tried method and worked good . But don't expect too much earning from it .

 

You can setup CPM ads if you are getting good traffic but thats atleast some kind of guaranteed revenue for you.

 

Place your ads on different positions.. Make it a 2:1 ratio.. Every 2 visitors.. 1 of them will click on the ads.. Ask yourself: What place on my pages should i place the ads?

 

As Amit said, you should try some CPM ads like Valueclick etc. Should work better then adsense.

First thing for your joke site is that you must use english language.
And for more traffic give your site to publish in various search engine, so more and more people will come to your site daily and your income will increase.

 

I guess if your site is properly optimized and using English, it could increase the value.

Your CTR is good, but you will need to work on better keywords to improve your $/click. But seeing that you have a joke site, that isn't going to be possible.
