Pausing keywords

    When you edit keywords, can you pause them somehow rather than deleting them?

    e.g. something like this: keyword**3.00**pause

    There is no pause keyword function.

    I use 2 workarounds:

    1) Move the pause-keywords to a adgroup called [Paused Keywords]. The [Paused Keywords] Group may had no ad inside it.

    - or -

    2) set the bid price with a very low bid value and positioning value for a very high value:

    keyword ** 0.01 ** #1


    For (1) always use keyword tool to move keywords to do not loose quality score. For (2) there is a low chance to still receive low impression for paused keywords.

    for (1) and (2) there is a chance to do not has the same quality score history when you decide to resume the keywords again.
