It is now the 3rd day I run Windows 7 beta, and it is still the BEST beta I've ever tried from Microsoft. 100% stable - only few bugs. Running 350mb RAM from boot. Uhm that's nice.
Man..i hate vista and i thnk windows 7 too bt yeah thr are lot new features in win 7 and faster then vista bt still xp is the best fore me
I have replaced Vista on my work computer with Windows 7 64bit and I couldn't be happier. It's faster, very stable and some great new features as well. So far I think it's the best windows ever.
In terms of a Microsoft Operating System, I'll stick with what STILL works - Windows Xp and I guess Windows 2000 is there for stability reasons. However, when they were designing their GUI all they could think about was how nice Apple's GUI was...hehe. Be better off creating your own linux distro. - A
I just posted it in my blog about Official release of Windows seven beta . I just cant figure it out why 64BIT version is too big compared to the 32 Bit version. There was no major difference in Windows XP versions.
I am going to download it soon.. Well I think its a waste because it will run for a short time and then you have to activate it..
Yeah, it runs 30 days when not genuine, but hey, you can get the activation key for free. Those keys expire August 1st, 2009.
yes indeed you can get the key from the official Windows 7 site for free and test it till August after which the RTM version of Windows 7 would be released
I am very hesitant of this OS. At our shop, we strictly sell computers with Windows XP (Professional and Home). We even convert Vista OS's back to XP. I find it interesting though that they so quickly came out with a new OS. So what is the plan? Now all of those people who purchased Vista have to again purchase Windows 7? Lol....are you serious?
hmm indeed the people buying Windows Vista before the specified date has to purchase Windows 7 again, they can buy the upgrade for the Windows.According to the sources people buying Windows Vista after 1st july can upgrade freely to Windows 7,but still it isn't confirmed.
I am also curious to know why Microsoft is coming out with a new version of Windows as Vista was launched sometime back. But may be they have decided this after general -ve perception about Vista.
