It's hatred like this that causes conflicts like this to arise. We're you ever hugged as a child?

I guess it really depends on who's land it is / was.

Of course those of us that look at history beyond the paltry 400 years that Muslim's look at, the difference of opinion is clearer. :D

I think of isreal as much as of a country as it respects the sovereignty of Palestine

The fact that it is liberating Palestinians from Terrorists (Hamass) should be evidence of that. ;);)

The only solution is to reconstitute Palestine-Trans-Jordan consisting of 90% of the West Bank, Gaza and Jordan. The State will have to be given some water rights from he Golan and transit rights to Gaza via the Suez Canal.

In fact the West Bank was part of Jordan until 1967.

Another fact is that Jordan is the name of a river and not a people.

Palestians and Jordanians are the same arab peoples that inhabited the Palestine Trans Jordan area under British rule.

The offensive was no suprise to anyone. Hamas was warned what would happen should they continue to fire rockets at Israel.

Beleive me that Hamas would be killing women and children if they had a chance. Just the other day a Grad rocket hit a school in Israel.

The citizens of Gaza elected Hamas to represent them.

The citizens of post WW1 Germany elected Hitler to represent them. What exactly is your point?

No, I don't think it. I was alive and witnessed it. Where were you? In diapers?

Hitler never received a majority of the vote but managed to take over once he got into the government just like Hamas.

Both the Palestinians and Germans have brought the pain onto themselves. Hamas insists on shooting rockets at Israel and Hitler insisted on starting a world war. Millions of germans were killed as a result of the war.

Maybe israel shouldnt have created hamas knowing full well that their original belief was JIHAD and helped to fund over 70 hamas style schools and now because of their little experiment both israelis and palestinian civilians are dying. I just saw a little palestinian 5 year old with both his eyes blown out of his head. This is also called ruthless aggression. What a shame to see both sides not caring about the innocent ones caught in the middle. Gaza literally looks like hell right now:(
My heart goes out to all the innocent victims on both sides of this brutal tragedy.
