Ok, so, I have just started relevant posting comments to different blogs with the do follow rule. Do I just post my website name where they ask for it or do I also post my website name in the comment itself?
Yep, post it where they have it available for you. Your comment might get declined if not. Also, you should use relevant anchor text as your name. Don't use your actual name there.
Posting too many links (site and under the comment) will affect your successful posts ratio. Most webmasters will take it as spam, until your site is not strictly related.
Oops, good thing you told me that, lol. So, would you put in something like this: akeywordhereoryoursitename
Just place your website in the space provided above the comment. Many blogs have their spam settings to auto delete any post that has links within the comment.
For Dofollow links, mostly, they keyword type of name is not allowed. Out of 10 dofollow comments, it is hard to get one approve. So, try building backlinks to your domain name's contact. I'm sure there will be one person incharge for all those contents and details or contact us page in your blog right? Use the name and get it popular.
dont post comments with posting..........as this seems to be spam posting and as they have provided you with the space thus there is no sense posting links with comments in blogs...........
If you wish to let any popular blog's regular visitors know about the alternate view that you have, then it's better to put a link in the comment posted with an anchor text. If you put a link just because you have the option to do so might result in considering your comment to be spam and your comment would be deleted. So, use this wisely and put a general comment stating that you have an alternate view and then place a link, which would be fine.
blog commenting has become overrated. 1 in 20 postings will get deleted as bloggers are gettingg smarter nowadays and are deleting anything that appears remotely like a link bomb.
Always try and comment relevant to the topc or the article, be part of the discussion. or else it doesn't make sense to post for a link, and webmaster gonna unapprove it or mark it as a spam. and after that akismet gonna ban your ip as well.
I disagree. I'll often reject a post made by "buy cars tenneessee" where as I'll gladly accept a comment by 'Super Car Stan' or some such... I want REAL people posting in my blog not spammers and if I think they are posting JUST for a link I'll decline every time. In fact, if it looks too spammish I'll even send them off to ASKIMET. Use a REAL name, if people like what you have to say, they will click through the link. And if you are putting a link in your comment I'll be even tougher on who I will allow... so make sure that you post relevant information in the comment (add content to the blog you are posting in!) and if you have a relevant link, then go on & share it... How to get backlinks from forums and blogs and not be labeled as a spammer And once you are done making your comment go on & help promote the site you are commenting in It can only help you in the long run... Promoting your site by promoting someone else's
I agree with this, however it is still best to post your link in the URL field. I can't remember ever having approved a post where they stuck a link in the comment field. If you want your comment approved just make it look good. Either skim and respond to a point in the blog post with 2-3 sentences or look at a previous comment and respond to that. I usually also throw in a comment about the blog's layout or something. The two things that make me not approve a blog post are relevance and links in the comment body.
Post it in the URL bubble. The only time you should post a link in a comment area is if it is pertinent to the conversation or post. Don't say "look at my site" and add a link to the comment. That's tacky. If you have a relevant post or web page that adds to the comments then add it. Otherwise one link is good enough. I don't approve comments that have home URL links in the comments. People should know by now how to find out if a site is dofollow or not. Don't try and squeeze two links out of my little blog!
Many blogs will reject links that are included as part of the actual comment itself. Plus, others will reject you if you use "Keywords" as your name as they recognize this for exactly what it is - an attempt to get a link! If the comments are relevant and you are pointing to a website that has relevance to make a point, personally, I would not mind if someone included a link in a comment.
