Pointless question without knowing your site's field/niche. Without knowing that, it's just pissing numbers in the wind.
I am not talking about any specific niche, I am talking in general, however ny website is related to tutorials abou photoshop, php, mysql, flash and others and some downloads as well.
LOW. very low... Out of the 50+ sites I've put adsense ads on at one time or another, the only one I've had perform that low was a forum. For today, one of my sites: 1,500+/- 170 (clicks) : $25.63
Still trying to get to 100 career clicks But I'm about on pace to have it come close to $12-$15 for 100 even.
It's amazing how much placement can make such an impact. Anyway, I usually keep my ads in a small place on the bottom of my pages so it blends in with the layout and looks informative. Also, I believe anthing more then one ad is terrible. I try only to place one on my pages. If I could, I would place none because that's what people seem to love!
So far in June this month I've made 40,300 page views (according to Google Adsense reporting, I guess that figure is good, ne?) and I've made USD8.14. That's just from five BETA testers. Also, I don't tend to see Adsense as a way of making money, just that it gives you extra money if you're lucky which is good, but don't rely on it. I only have them on my game/site so its another feature paid members have (removable adverts).
well yoyo - is that 1500 impressions and 170 clicks ? thats really good if its only 1500 impressoins.. other than that, I think it seems to be normal per 100 clicks, according to other replies.. geomark - thats great, its 5 times of what adsense makes, unfortunately yahoo is currently on for US. lets see when its comes out of beta, I think the payrate will be something similar to adsense then..
Yes... 1500 plus or minus a few. It's decent.. except about 1.5 years ago 170 clicks would have been $170+...
This is why most of you don't make any real money with Adsense. You're too busy being concern with random numbers instead of focusing on what matters. Throwing out numbers from your sites, when not a single one of you have the same kind of sites, and then oohing and awwing and getting all down that your numbers don't match someone else's is pointless.
jack are you ever nice to anyone about anything? You don't have to be an asshole ALL of the time you know?
You got a low number then? xP I agree though, different sites offer different content with higher or lower paying advertisers. Like Cisco links give ~$1.45 whilst "organic farming produce!" gives ~$.10
