    Hello DP!

Having a great week running contests here, so it's time for yet another one - and this will be my first contest for a vector mascot and logo so bear with me.

I need a GREAT brand building mascot AND logo for emusclebuilding.com and we will be designing the website around this logo.

I've never had a logo like this done but I want a big musclebound DUDE!

    GO DP GO!

I'll give detailed feedback as entries come in - $60 paypal to the winner!

Hi, I don't really know what terminology it is but if you take a look at like www.slotsgeek.com for example of a "hockeyguy".

Does that make sense all? I nearly doubled my normal contest for a logo since I figured this was a lot more work.

    Look forward to some entries!!!!

    :)

    Hello mjmurphy
I will be glad to work on a mascot for your contest. I tried to look a that link and see a hockey player. I thought I might see a sample of a mascot that you like. But there were not pictures at that site.
So, should you mascot be like a body builder at a show ?
    cartoon looking guy ?
I will make a nice one for you.
How long does your contest go? I might have a submission here by tonight.

Hi edited the post with a working link, not sure why the other site was down and hope this site doesn't mind me posting their link lol.

    Make sense now?

Can it be in photoshop format ? or does it have to be vector?

I can provide a very large size PSD too so you wont really need a vector format, lets say 1400x1400

    Thanks

    ok thank you

and please make sure everyone submit there work in the thread rather then pm as then we can know that its an original entry, thats the only reason i am reluctant to participate in the contests these days as most of the peoples just submit stuff from stock sites and claim them there own.

    Thanks again

Well, if you have a vector format than it is more easily resized, so that it can be used for a web site or print etc,,,, ir is easier to edit,
But a good artist can make it in photoshop too. I can see your example now and I will be submitting an entry. And I agree Brainwaves too, you should have all entries submitted here because some people will try to submit things to you that are not original .

I'm willing to wait for quality sir :)

If I see that entry that just knocks my socks off I'll end the contest, but would like to see a few entries.

    Think BIG, STRONG, BODY BUILDER.

    Go DP!

ok, looks like someone has to go first. So here is my design. It is all done in vector so it can be easily edited or made to a different size without loss of quality. Let me know any feedback I can easily make changes.
And yes it is all original drawing. ;)

That is an awesome first entry, I have some revisions in mind for it but I won't ask you to do it unless we pick your entry. Entry great as is for now.

Now that this contest is rolling I'll choose a winner after we get a few entries, thanks for starting it off for me and super awesome work!

Sorry to burst in here ^^ Just trying to help: if you save as a .psd file, and if you don't merge or flatten the layers and let's say, put all the shape layers in one group, you can easily resize the group, and if you resize it that group (inside it are all the separated layers) , it will keep the quality just like vector format.
