    Hello Everyone,

What is the best computer software around these days? We have used Kaspersky for the past year, and it is about to run out but we have not found it that good.

Could you recommend a security software that is either paid or free...

We aern't too worried about price as long as it does the job it is needed for!

    Thanks

I use Sygate Personal Firewall, AVG, and common sense :)

I've only ever had 1 unintentional virus infection in the last 10 years (Melissa back in 99).

Zonealarm and AVG does the trick for me.....

I am surprised you are not satisfied with Kaspersky...I was very happy when I used it last time...and thinking of going back to it...very soon.

    Regards,

We found that Kaspersky was continually popping up, and it was doing it so often that it slowed the computers performance down quite a bit!

Well... I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security... and I think it's the best security software out there... Nod32 is also good.

I have heard some bad reviews of the latest AVG software, which is why I am curious about using it!

AVG/NOD32 protects you from running infected files ! Instead of AV's, Firewall protects you from receiving them
