Hi webmasters, Please go to my MP3 blog. http://www.gpmp3.com I like to know that when u are listening any song it downloads it on your PC n keeps somewhere for a long time. Can someone tell me where exactly on PC I can see this downloaded music file? Regards, ML.
I don't understand ? Are you saying that you don't know what folder you PC keeps downloaded filed in ? That depends on how you have it set up. The way it is on my PC may not be the same as yours, and I don't think may people are going to download a file from a website just to tell you that, especially if it is an illegal music download that is copy written material.
It is going to your temperory internet files. It may be in mp3 format or swf, depend on how the script plays it.
Please don't tell me about your expressions here. Just tell me the exact answer or u guys let it go. Cheers.
You want the exact answer, right? I played the song "Girls Aloud - Love Is Pain". I am using opera 9 with default settings, The song went to "C:\Documents and Settings\sandeep mt\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera9\profile\cache4" folder with file name "opr03RI5" and size 4115KB.
Wow u r absolutely gr8. I am using firefox so my stuff is here: D:\Documents and Settings\cool\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\q514pgah.default\Cache
I think the format is mp3 itself. The file in my cache doesn't have any extension. I put a.mp3 extension and its playing in my winamp. So its not a swf file.
yeah its mp3 u just need to change the extension. I explained everything in my cousin's forum: http://www.gp-singh.com/showthread.php?tid=120
You should explain the path in a general way like for C:\Documents and Settings\sandeep mt\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera9\profile\cache4 You should do like C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERACCOUNT NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera9\profile\cache4 so that every one can look for the files in their system.
just don't worry people will get an idea from there. I really like to thx you. Now I don't have to add any download buttons in my personal MP3 script. Cheers.
