I'm just curioius. I see that a lot of webmaster forums have banned people from doing social bookmark exchanges such as stumbleupon. What is the reason for this?

I don't know...maybe they under pressure from the social bookmark site...I guess they want the bookmarking process to be natural and organic...They want people to bookmark things of quality then some people paying to bookmark things with no substance...Sometime I go on stumble to look at really cool site....I found two cool site on stumble that reminds me of when I first star using the internet...

I doubt those are the reasons.

There are tons of warez stuff going around DP and other forums have not shut the members down who are talking about that.

There has to be some solid reason out there.

And those threads usually get removed and members banned.

Once again its because it abuses the systems of these social networking sites, you can ask in the feedback & suggestion forum if you wish.

And it totally junks up the forums with useless stuff.
