If you get a lot of impressions, try CPM with ValueClick Media. They pay very well and on time.

Ohh there is so many alternatives for this. But they are not as good as google. I have mentioned it below:
    Bidvertiser
    Obeus
    Valueclick
    adbrite
    adjungle
    kontera
    etc.....

Well, ValueClick can't be compared to Adsense, but I feel VCM is a very close contender and could hurt AdSense a bit if they start producing contextual ads.

I think also YPN is great, but the service isn't allowed outside USA.
If you are in USA, that's it

    Hello,

I'm from Kontera In-Text Ad Network. Our ads work either as the primary source of a site's income or as an additional source, supplementary to Adsense, YPN or other networks. View example here

    Thanks,

As stated, there are many PPC programs out there. However, you need to follow the terms of service for any of them or you will be banned. Adsense is the number one paying one but of you have been banned, you need to look at why and make sure you do not repeat the same thing with another program.

I'm currently testing out a beta advertising network for a month. I haven't gotten my first day results, but so far I think these guys are doing an AMAZING job. The beta period is closed and they only let some publishers in, but we might all be in for a nice ride in a couple months. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to reveal any info, but I'm going to try and blog about it if I get permission. Wait till you see the ad generator/ad stats screen. WOW!

adbrite or cpxinterective both profitable in India (Bidvertiser sucks dnt even think abt it ) , or start posting direct ads yourslef , like selling your ads directly to the third party thats the best way but needs time and huge traffic.......

netklix is a good alternative...Personally, I think the contextual is more targeted and accurate than Google AdSense. Also check out my list of other Google Alternative in my signature...

Can we put Google Adsense and above alternatives together in one page?

Or to list them in a same site but separate to different internal pages?
