Hi guys, i just thought i should ask you some few questions and see your answers to them all.

What's the only English word with three consecutive double letters?

What's the thickest tissue in the body?

What's the smallest tissue in the body?

Which is the slowest growing finger nails?

I'll only tell the answers after some couple of post and no correct answers yet

I'm game and hoping they're not trick questions.

Mississippi? I'm not sure what you meant by "consecutive"

    Bone.

Blood? Cell-wise, I think it's neurons, ergo brain.

    I'm gonna hazard, "thumb."

    Am I close?

I think it depends on exactly how you define both "thickest" and "tissue". The skin on the soles of the feet, and bone, are clearly both acceptable answers, each according to its own definition of those terms. Arguably, so is "liver", perhaps, because it's the biggest individual organ.

When you say "thickest", do you mean "most dense" or "measuring the most in cross-section" or what?

Spermatocytes, arguably (but still depends on exactly what you classify as "tissue": I appreciate that most people wouldn't define it in such a way as to include sperm cells).

Undoubtedly, but the question didn't say "thickest skin": it said "thickest tissue". (I'd think the pericardium and the diaphragm are probably both thicker than the skin over the heels, for a start?).

I think it's not easy for anyone to guess any more answers if you won't answer the questions about what you mean by "tissue" and so on. (Sperm cells are the smallest cells in the human body, but you haven't said "yes" or "no" to this answer yet, and guessing indefinitely without any better definition of the questions really won't hold anyone's attention for long; sorry.)

Remember a spermatozoa isn't a tissue but a cell. Cells make up tissue. Am i free now? There is a tissue in the head and its the smallest. Thats a clue.
