People around here sustain the fact that you shouldn't build links using the same anchor text, because Google considers this technique as being an unnatural one. If someone would talk about your site on his blog, without asking for your accord, he would say something like: "Guys, i just saw a cool site and i want to share this with you. Click here to see it too." My question for you is: How can we rank higher for a certain keyword in SE results if this technique is not agreed by Google anymore?
You got it wrong. It's not like building backlinks with the same anchor text is not allowed anymore. Just don't exaggerate and you will be fine. When building links rotate 3-4-5 keywords similar to your main keyword. Example: Chairs (main keyword) Use this anchor text from time to time: Wooden chairs Red chairs Cheap chairs Office chairs Ergonomic chairs If your domain is www.johndoe.com then you can build as much "john doe" backlinks as you wish
So, do you mean that instead of a single keyword link building i should build links with other keywords related to the one i'm interested in? If so, this means that the area enlarges... and the work that need's to be done ( SEO ) is even greater and time consuming...
Exactly. That's not true. While targeting your main keyword you sure use related keywords ("wooden chairs" instead of "chairs" every time). So linking with "wooden chairs" from time to time instead of just "chairs" won't be a problem. This will make your link profile more natural. As you see there is no additional work involved because the subkeywords are in your webcopy anyway (or at least they should be).
This is exactly right. Not only is 'chairs' in both Chairs and Wooden Chairs, but you also want to build upon something like 'wooden chairs' for traffic anyway. Someone #1 in 'chairs' won't be #1 in wooden chairs, but both would have traffic associated with them. So the key is to find related keywords that work with each other. Basically this 'rule' with google forces you to do better marketing anyway
That's called advanced SEO Isn't it ironical that webusiness23 managed to get himself banned while we were trying to help him?
I suggest use your own keyword as the anchor text for your links, but that keyword should relate to the link you are pointing to.
