It's only a little over a month old, just wanted to know your comments and feedback. Not getting much traffic yet since it's new but any comments/advice would be great! Youtube Video of the Day
The overall layout and design is great the only thing I would suggest is that you change the color of the links in the navigation of the blog having blue text with a blue background may be difficult for certain people to read, the links would be more legible if you changed the color to white.
Cool, need little time to produce high quality content. I like your "40 Inspiring Speeches in 2 Minutes"
thanks for pointing that out! You are right, never thought of that. Personally I can read the links just fine, but that's not the point, like you say it may not be as easy for others, and that would effect overall retention to the site.
thanks I agree, still a new site and a work in progress ...I got a good chuckle out of that video too! I can't even imagine how long it must have taken for the person to make that video, was very well synched and all blended together well
looks pretty good dbonline! so is this fed from a youtube RSS feed, or how exactly is the YTVOTD chosen?
Thanks gadgetsguy! I don't feed the site using RSS, I write all the text and randomly select a video each day. I try to mix it up with several different categories to make the site more interesting to a wider audience.
Nice looking, clean site. How many UVs are you getting per day? I've experimented with embedded video sites, and have found them difficult to monetize. Getting any action of your Adsense ad units?
I'll be honest, not quite so much yet, but then again the site is less than 2 months old so it's too early for me to tell how much profit the site will make. I do notice that slowly but surely the traffic is rising as it gets indexed more. I plan to find some quality link trades once it's more established as well which will help. I've had a few Adsense clicks but not ready to retire yet lol. I know it takes time for some sites to grow and gain exposure, that's why I came here asking for any tips and advice. Thanks for the comments btw.
Wow... nice and neat.. not much i can say here all.. really did a great job with the sites layouts etc... sooner or later you'll be drawing more traffic on these site... just keep it up mate! Regards, Anton
