This has been going on since the search engines began guys, it is not new, this is just a larger manifestation of what has been going on for a long time! Nintendo reminds me of Carl Sagan looking out into outer space.....billions and billions....... Take my word for it, this scam is over 3 years old and people that have been around here since the start know exactly what I am talking about, this is not the first time sub domains have been used to game the engines and it is not the fault of the webmasters, it is the search engines fault for letting it go on by turning the other way!
Don't try to make sense of the stock market. It follows its own mad, inverse logic and responds to world news like a manic depressive on acid. The stocks probably all went up because it was sunny and somebody scored in the World Cup, and not because of any sensible reason like the actual value of stock in question. Stocks routinely fall when a company publishes good results, because all the fools think good results will mean a rise in the share value, and therefore it's the best time to cash in.
I'm still finding a bunch of sites using this method that G has yet to find. I think that their only method of dealing with them as of now is by manually banning them. The ones I'm finding were all registered before this hit the wires, so still not seeing any of the thousands of copycats yet to come on the scene. For reference, it looks like G has around 19,980,000,000 results as of right now. Will be interesting to see how that number fluctuates. -Michael
New Digg story to get to the front page!! http://www.digg.com/technology/Results_of_a_MASSIVE_Google_Ban_-_7_BILLION_Pages
dude you are too slow, this one got dugg over thousand time ,.. http://digg.com/technology/How_One_Spammer_Got_BILLIONS_of_Pages_into_Google_in_3_Weeks
site:.be brloker - should get you to a few new ones then recycle what you find and you will find THOUSANDS more sites at various stages of generation, if you follow your nose. My personal favourite attempt so far (as it appears to use a new variant method and words instead of numbers and looks like it uses an Add on subdomain trick!) is site:bpv3.net - there are lots of other domains already mimicing this particular approach and they are not too hard to find. (Some are showing 200,000-250,000 pages indexed already). Which leads to two simple questions - does Google have enough staff to deal with this issue manually? How long to go before meltdown? Interesting times indeed.

Remember the spammer used old, 404 blogspot.com pages and made them look like they were still 404? I checked old 20six.co.uk and mindsay.com blogs listed in Google that are apparently 404 and all the usernames are taken. But none of the pages have hidden links on them yet. Google better take steps to remove the PR of old blogs or something
I click the link above today ( 22-jun-06) , and found no inbound link to them anymore in google, may be google has blacklisted them __________________ James Infusion set | IV Catheter Image consultancy
