Nobody is too fond of them. I mean look around, where you have islam you have death and misery. The religion itself is far more cancerous than other religions. Can you really blame them for not being fond of islam?

USA don't like anyone, they just like power, and bring evil to non-americans.

What are you talking about we love your woman and soccer players.

Why are some many people on this US based forum so jealous of America that get their jollies making petty insults?

I think it has to do with history and strategy more than anything else. Israel being a major power in the Middle East region. With Israel as an ally, USA can exert considerable influence over the Middle East. Coupled with the fact that Iran isn't really much of a friend of USA, neither is Syria, two of the other major players. USA needs to have a counter balance and Israel serves as one.

Secondly Jews played a huge role in the finance markets of the USA throughout history. This itself gave extremely powerful clout and lobbying powers to the Jews in USA to shape the foreign policies of USA towards Israel. I do not think that likes or dislikes plays any role, rather whether USA strategic aims are met or not.

Who are the terrorists is really something difficult to answer, when I saw Israel bombing the population centers of Gaza, I feel they are the terrorists. But when Hamas fire rockets into Israel, it will be Hamas being the terrorists.

    Same applies to USA actions.....

Another thing I am surprised hasn't been brought up is the fact that Israel is actually willing to support and "be friends with" the US... something not a whole lot of countries are lining up to do this day in age. I don't have anything against America as it has never done anything to me, but I can make sense of why it has a less than favourable view to the majority of the world... and Israel for some unknown, possible strategic reason of their own is pretty much totally cool with the US and whatever they do.... so of course the US has to return the favor of being cool with whatever Israel does... right?

The US and Israel are like two kids whose parents don't like hanging with each other as they are terrible influences on each other always dragging each other into the others "crap" and never willing to be mature about a situation when the other is around.

    Support US how?
While US supporting Israel by tons of money and weapons and sending US kids to fight Israeli wars (Iraq and probably Iran is next) how Israel supporting US in return? You don't have to be Einstein to see who is getting all from that relationship and who is getting next to nothing...

Might be before your time, but back in 2001 the US started a little thing known as the war on terror... Israel was one of their biggest allies in the fruitless dunk hunt.

I do not have, no know where to find numbers on troop or any other contributions Israel has made/sent to iraq and Afghanistan, but I would assume a few thousand at minimum over the last 7 years.

Get real! Israelis wouldn't move their finger if it isn't about them and them only!

39 or so countries sent their troops to Iraq but you won't find Israel on that list. Go figure!

Well thank you for clearing that up for me, now I really am at a loss as to why the US bows down to Israel... though I do still think when paired up they act like a couple of helliyan 12 year old boys.

Don't buy to his propaganda. Israel and the US have been working closely using their intelligence agencies to track down terrorists and give important information to each other. The US army is around 1.2 million soldiers, Israel has 100,000 soldiers, and they have a fuck load of areas where everything could just go boom and have another war. They're helping with intelligence, and they're the first post of real democracy in the middle east.

The US doesn't bow down to Israel, the point you're missing is exactly what the US sees - how the situation started and who's fault it is. Many will tell you that I'm wrong and that the Jews are evil killers who control the world, all you have to do is look at the facts. There are around 7 million people in Israel and 300 million in the USA. The USA wouldn't support Israel so deeply unless they knew that they're the right side. Look at how many times the USA tried to make peace in the middle east and you'll see which side always welcomed the efforts and which side kept saying "Israel should die".

USA doesn't hate muslems or Islam. We are the largest human melting pot in the world and have always been so. People come here (willingly) from all corners of the earth, so we know how to get along with people who are different from one another. Sure there are times when people collide and fight, but we are all like family.

USA isn't a puppet to anyone at any time. We were around long before anyone ever heard of Israel.

Its quite easy and simple for Gaza to stop Israel in its tracks -- just stop firing rockets In Isreal terriroty. That's all Israel is asking and nothing more. Gaza people want peace ? Its in their power to achieve that.

Some Americans know how to get along to others... a lot of Americans do not play nice. There is even a show on now where they set people up to show how racist and ignorant Americans are when given the opprotunity. Now like I said, I know this is not true of all Americans, but there are A LOT of Americans that have a severe distaste for anyone that looks or sounds different.

Have you looked into the reason why Gaza was firing the rockets into Israel? You might want to check it out. I am not pro either side, but it is just not as simple as you think it is.
