    I'm looking for some advice what should I change at my website to help it appear higher among Google results for pen pals.

    First of all a very nice and cool site. Add sections like Japan Pen Pals, British Pen Pals, Womens Pen Pals, Mens Pen Pals.......
    I cannt see any keyword optimization as well.....Rss Feeds can be implemented as well although me too not so much proficient in that as well.

    Very simple when you sell something to someone and he tells his friends and his friend buy's something and he likes it...... it's called viral marketing however the best part of it is that people blog alot and they will post on there blogs and in forums and im's and slowly you will get some visiters!
