I recently updated an old site I have to get better indexing from Google (www.justhelpme.net). The Googlebot crawler doesn't seem to like my site very much and I still can't tell why. In fact, it seems that my site gets crawled very seldom by them. What am I doing wrong?
I have mine www.bangkoksexy.com i tried all sitemaps program and it just stop it will not crawl it If anyone have a program that can fix this please tell me or if you see anything that might stop google from crawling it.
are thesenew sites? I recently added a new site almost 2 weeks ago and google has yet to index it. Google used to be really fast .. like 1-2 days ... but now it's taking forever
Agree with Cranky Dave, you need way more links. On the other hand "crawling" is not the same as "indexing". And now "indexing" does not always lead to actually showing in the SERPS. Why you ask? Because all of my new pages that are being indexed are being listed as "supplemental" results. And I have no idea why. So first you have to get the spiders to find your site Then you have to get them to crawl it Then you have to get them to index it Then you have to get out of "supplemental hell" Then you have to constantly tweak pages to get them to rank well And all the while you must continue to accumulate backlinks and add new content So when google tells you to "build your sites for users, not the engines", please tell them to kiss your @$$.
Hi, You have to make sure you have done the basic SEO steps, and the give it time, be patient: -Check for broken links -Search for appropiate keywords for your site -Build titles and metas -Optimize your pages according to keywords -Check your site structure -Create a good internal and external linking structure -Create a blog -Create a sitemap -As wibr mentioned: "you have to constantly tweak pages to get them to rank well" -Submit your site to SE and Directories -Pay some listings in directories according to your budget, a good place to start is: http://www.123promotion.co.uk/directorymanager/ -Link exchange: (with quality, related sites, no matter the PR) -Enjoy forums and message board related to your website subject -Most important of all: Good, unique content My two cents.
One of my sites is doing the same thing. I'm not sure what's going on with it.. I just hope this google storm calms down soon and my newest site will start to get indexed.
I am trying to build links, but having a hell of a time doing it. I have books, articles and forums pages out the a$$!!! How do other sites start? I want the search engines to being crawling/indexing, but everyone tells me I need links to get them to notice me. To get links with good sites, I need traffic to convince others to exchange. HOW DO SITES EVER GET OFF THE GROUND?!!
