Hello SEO experts, I'm trying to be SEO expert. Ok please tell me which we should avoid for search engine optimization while we're developing site.
avoid google indexing your site before you want it too! this is a must really and you achieve this with a robots.txt file in your websites root. in the txt file just write this
Google indexed a site of mine, only had one post with "lorem ipsum" dummy text. Result? Hit first page for a good keyword auto related and cash flow.
I read an article where author said there is not any kind of rule that give our site penalty for SEO. How do you think about this ?
Hey Curtis129, please explain your rationale for the advice you gave above? Slow down the indexing process until you're ready, now that's a unique twist? Google can handle more than one keyword position for a new site. They have this you beaut new algorithmn. I'm no SEO expert (although some would say that's a decided advantage) but I would never take the advice you gave.... But I'm willing to have you explain it to me and maybe convince me?...over to you for a clearly reasoned explanation of how you arrived at this theory please?
unique twist? well it works for me.. it makes for definate ure that your site will come up in some kaywords once you have content on your site.. google come to you site early, no info on your site.. google wont come back for ages because it see's your site without important infomation and no real need to crawl often. hence why i wait till i have sufficient keywords appropriate description and more importantly SEO and INFOMATION. weather that is important or not im not sure? but does well for me
I disagree with the above information: If you have a few pages, add a Google site map and get it regisitered in the Google webmaster area, so you can see what Google sees. Don't wait for your site to be perfect- just get it moving! time is the biggest enemy when doing seo
Avoid -> Using black-hat methods -> Purchasing links -> Gaining to many backlinks to qucikly Do all of the above and you should be fine!
SEO starts on your own site, google around for on-site optimization. Make sure you've got it nailed Then all your other efforts are only helped by it
im not saying for you to have your site perfect, but at least have a minimum ammount of content that your keywords and description goes by... nothing worse then having a search engine that every single person uses no bother crawling your site as its 1 page with no infomation.
Buying links isn't black hat, it isn't detectable, it isn't illegal and it's probably one of the best SEO strategies currently available.
Yes- it works- I uses PR 5 links (a one time reasonble payment) which then took my site from page 2 to page 1- so this is not opinion-
