Should I make a general review site or niche review site? So should i have a review site on all topics such as autos, shopping, books. Or should I just choose one topic and review that?

If I were to make a review site I'd make it a niche site on a topic I love and know alot about.

Though with a general site the possibilities are endless, you never run out of things to review.

Yeah that's why i want to make a good decision before I start. If i want to concentrate on one site I don't want to be limited.

Niche sites are the way to go. Concentrate on something that you really know about. General sites might sound tempting, but you have to invest a lot of money, time and efforts to get a general site running.

I think im going to put everything into one domain for now and then eventually split them up when they get too big.

I'd go with a niche, and dominate the niche.

That's my opinion. Hope it helps

If you know different things then you should go for a general topic. If you are good on only one topic then got for niche site.

Well, I suppose choosing direction depends on where you want to go?

What do you want from your site?

If you're an experienced online marketer and you have lots of connections with other webmasters, basically if you already know what you're doing, then a mega site 'might' work, but is you're just getting started I wouldn't recommend it.

Niche site is the way to go. You have to learn to walk before you can run!

If you are just starting out, I would suggest one niche product, you can add to it down the road.

You need to find something you love, and go from there. Remember the idea is to have fun at what you are doing, not overload yourself with a bunch of stuff that's going to bog you down and become a chore, you will loose intrest quickly.

    Regards,

I would suggest creating a single themed niche site. It will rank quicker than a general site.

niche hands down. general is a no go. it can be frustrating attempting to make a general site successful, as you will be competing with others have been in the game a while. If you try to cater to everyone, you have no soul. Go Niche or go home! Good luck.

Look for a niche that you're comfortable with and is profitable enough. Never do a general review site. Rarely do i see people who got successful with a general review site. :D Just my 2 cents.
