The world's top 100 richest Adolf Merckle has committed suicide due to the crisis and inability to get a bailout. Check out the full news. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aStLk8TPlUZo It is sad. Many people are in a similar level in terms of finances as the German billionaire now. Shouldn't the government prepare a bailout plan for these people instead of injecting further money into the corporations that contribute to the crisis?
The governments of the world should let losers lose. Give the train driver a million dollars for having his life ruined instead.
He already reach dead end of solution and i hope government will consider more bailout plan for small business owner since they suffer much more than "big shark".
how can things get so bad that people want to kill themselves ?? im sorry.. dont wanna be insensitive.. but i just wonder..
Actually this crisis affect immediately the people at the top, whereas the people at the bottom suffer from the people at the top wanting to cut cost.
Whoopss sad news ... I don't know why people are so much strong that they kill themselves and on the other hand why are they so coward that they can't even fight with their own lives :s
Of all the ways to commit suicide... stepping in front of a train I guess money doesn't buy happiness.
You've obviously have never been as low as some or like myself, my health is soo bad and with no way out you feel like walls are closing whether your stress be chronic health problems, debt etc its all teh same. Lucky you having a life free from this.
his stock drop by 70% which is quite bad he tried to make up for the loss by shorting Volkswagon stock. Surprisingly VW share is the only auto share that rise in the crisis. If he had shorted Ford, GM, or any other auto he might get the extra capital to pull through. Also his debt is mounting and business forecast is bad for the next couple of years.
I never saw any richer person being very happy....Instead look at street beggers, their face look more relaxed than them. Money when not put to good use, can never bring happiness.... Hoarding of money for own self will certainly never bring you closer to the joys of life. Money does not bring long-lasting happiness on its arrival, but wrecks a person permanently, on its departure. Regards, RightMan
Its really shocking news, i dont know they have this much money but not some time to think about something else then suicide, sad news
I think there is a foul play on the way he died..Billionaires are not weaklings. They are made to do it all.
Yes it's shocking but we know it's that fact and many people now think about same as losses is higher for those who invest money in Markets. It's not a big think, although it will help someone as now anyone can but shares of Satyam at low cost and sell it once rate will go up.
It is such a stupid thing to do since you have lots of money. If you can't get some bailout then find something else to save your finance.
