You spoofed your IP and mac address to something different for each click?

Patterns, timing, and it's just a stupid idea.

Don't do it, or talk about that here. They may ban you, and it's icky.

There's no point trying to cheat the system... the chances are they will find out, and the effort you'd go through isn't worth it... and as they say, cheaters never prosper

I didn't want to do it, I'm just interested in learning how the system works and how google prevents these sort of things.

Patterns and timing would be an easy work-around.

User behavior patterns, similar IPs, browser, OS, screen resolution, geo location, ISP, etc.

If you think you're smarter than the whole Google corporation - go ahead and try to cheat them.

Otherwise just don't do it because you will get you account banned pretty soon. 100% guarantee.

Thanks for the details, but again, I don't want to do this. Just wanted to know how they prevent it.

Well in small amounts it'd be hard for them to notice, but if you did it on a larger scale, they'd notice something was up and investigate... if your CTR is above a certain level they also do a bit of research into your site...

Yeah, besides it's a karma thing. What you do to others both good and bad will eventually return to you.

Yep, on top of all that, there is click-through-rate, and google can see where the visits have come from. So you would have to go to the trouble of creating a huge amount of traffic that DIDN'T click on your ads to hide your fraud. Also, the traffic would all have to come from all kinds of legitimate looking directions.

When they ban you forever, you won't get paid, and if you did get paid they can come after you to get the money back. Not to mention the possible jail time.

Don't even think about using proxy sites or your dynamic IP address. 1000's of 'geniuses' are using adbrite or something else after being banned from Adsense.

    Listen, n00b. Don't do it.

It's illegal, wrong, immoral, and screws people who are legitimately advertisers or are advertising.

    Listen, f00l. Read.

I said I want to know how it works, not that I want to do it.
