Hi, We need help from you. My fiance has a philippines verified paypal account. She used bank account and mastercard to set up and verify. She says she is trying to add funds from here bank but paypal website fails to show an area for her to add funds from bank or credit card. It only shows area to send funds to her bank account. Another issue. We want to pay for some items bought using paypal but cant add the funds. Is there a way for us to pay straight from the bank account or credit card attached without having to have the money in paypal. Please advise. Thank you for your help DP.
Use your credit card to upload funds in your paypal account but using your credit card attached to your paypal account will cost you a bit.
Thanks for your reply JennyYY. I see I meant to say we have a debit card attached to the paypal account. I dont see a way to add funds at all when we click on the option. When we pay the person with paypal will it allow us to pay directly from the bank account or debit card? Thank you
i dont think they allow adding funds from a philippine bank account just yet. i have a philippine verified paypal account and when i checked, with the "add funds" page ( right next to the overview page ), only funding from a u.s. bank account was available. if your girlfriend has a u.s. bank account in her name, then she can add that to her paypal account and use that to add funds. otherwise, you might have to open your own paypal account, add a bank account in your name send funds over to her paypal to paypal. as for your other issue, if the seller you bought your items from accepts credit cards, have your girlfriend use her credit card with the seller's credit card processing. ive had no problem using my philippine credit card on the internet so far.
I also experienced this one.. I've attached my cc with paypal and send me a bill for $1.99. Once you've received your bill you will saw something like a code there, you'll just enter it in your paypal account to verify at the same time get your refund. About the purchasing products: for example at ebay, even though you didn't add funds to your paypal, the paypayl itself will get funds to your CC automatically.
mcars12, i think you are talking about the verification process which might be different from making a live purchase using paypal and adding funds to a philippine paypal account - this is what honest helpers is talking about. the verification process of paypal billing you for $1.99 is done by paypal and only they can do this i think. i dont think they allow account holders to transfer funds from their philippine bank account/credit cards paypal yet. at present, i think the only allowed transaction is outgoing from paypal and into your bank account if we are talking about adding funds. but you might be right about purchasing from ebay. charges to your credit card might be automatic if you dont have enough paypal funds. im not too familiar with ebay transactions
Thanks for all the answers... No she is verified 1 year. Heres the million dollar question. How do you pay other paypal members for items if paypal does not allow uploading from the bank or cards???? What is the method to pay people here on dp that disire paypal only for payments. There is enough money in the Bank of Philippine Islands bank account!!. Thanks again for helping.
Good information. I guess I need ask if anyone knows the monthly and/or yearly spending and recieving limits for Ph Paypal. Thank you all.
I believe there are no spending limits, it will depend on your credit card spending limit. But for the receiving limit I don't know.
This is also same with debit card but the only difference is that you need to have funds in your debit card before purchasing.
I have just checked on paypal services in the Philippines and from what I saw, adding funds from a Philippine bank account is not possible. And if there is an attached credit card, the amount will be taken from the card if the paypal account does not have sufficient balance to cover the payment. But the credit card option will cost extra.
