$25.00 Logo Contest (Includes Cartoon Drawing)

Hey everyone,

I am looking for someone to create a logo for me, it will need to fit the size of 392x72px. The logo needs to say "Host-Monkey.com (Jump a line, go part way over and under Host-Monkey.com) Putting the web within reach".

I would like some sort of swirl or cool looking design with a strand of color on the card somewhere, near the monkey.

You will also need to draw a monkey, a cartoon version. Not really that hard, just look around for ideas. I don't want something that looks like Curious George or I might scream, just so everyone knows.

I want something along those lines that is not animated but looks a little more serious.

i might give this a try, but to be honest for a mascot 25 USD is less as i am sure you would want a unique mascot not a copy or a rip, anyways no problem

I like the monkey, but would like him a bit more animated and slightly less blurred.

Also, it needs to be a LOT smaller, and fit the dimensions I stated earlier. In the long run though, that's a good start.

Especially without a tablet, that's really good.

Finally done with my entry




And i think a proof that i made this mascot my self is necessary as of whats happening these days at DP, so heres a hand drawn sketch on paper i made prior to digitally making it

(final design was improved regardless of whats in the sketch)

Btw, the size of actual mascot is 1400x1400 so if you want it bigger then no prob
and everything is changeable, from face expressions to the overall structure

lol What the hell ! you just took out a frame from that animated monkey example he provided in the 1st post ! RIPPER !!!

Do you think i am just going to let this go when i spent 3 hours making my mascot and while you just took out a frame from a simple .gif file.. ?

Not the exact frame even it required editing....... Check the anime for this frame & post here if u get one.

u r not the deciding authority so i m not getting into a conflict let the TC come & decide

 

EDITING ! well then why dont every designer just go to a stock site and find logos and mascots from there and change there feet and hands and call it there work ?

It's better, but it needs to be a animated figure rather then a "realistic" figure.

I will most likely be going with this for the design, you'll need to give me multiple copies of this in different sizes, I'll be paying you for those if you are the winner of course, we'll talk more via PM and IM.
