The site has a nice look and feel to it but I think it would be great if you add
some testimonials from some satisfied customers on the landing page, and
I think it's a bad idea to have your email address on the landing page you
may end up receiving quite a bit of spam because of this.

Yeah, I'm just waiting to get some actual customers, don't want to make my own, that's not being honest.

You'd still get spam anyway, I have CPanel accounts that I've never given the address to get heaps of spam on a hourly basis.

Thanks, I added some more in the past couple of days. about the company, some advertiser info, and an affiliate program. Still don't have any customers yet, so I can't put any testimonials.

The site has a very cool feel to it. I would consider adding a brief description of your service above the featured blog.

Just basically put what I'm offering? Something like on my sign up page? Or to like, make a statement about why they should buy from me?

    im agreed with river here..
its nothing look like hosting company page..
you have to read or look 1 min to figure it out..

i think you should re-consider changing the top image for what you offer..

Then you obviously didn't read his comment well as it was positive.

And I'm sorry, but I didn't want to waste $500 on the same design everyone else has, especially since it's blog hosting which is completely different from shared, reseller, or dedicated server hosting.

I'm sick and tired of people telling me it'll never work when people are paying LiveJournal $25 a year for a so called paid account. You know, it's not like they don't have downtime, they're not even dofollow and don't allow Adsense and other PPC ads.

I know I'll never compete with the big hosting sites, I'm not trying to. It's not even meant to attract the people who do buy from those companies. It's meant for little blogs that are just starting out, hence the name "MyBlogStartup." Do you think people know that they can get better quality then LiveJournal? Yes, they do! Do they want to buy something that has 20 GB of space they don't need that's $5 EVERY month? Of course not! It's like having a vBulletin board, people renew their licenses every year because it benefits them. You can always add to a forum so that it has similar features, but it's not like having the real thing.

Maybe just like in the livejournal header put 4 main icons whic describes the proceces..

There's not really a process though? I guess you could be right though.

But I'm just allowing general blogs, more like every type of site out there that doesn't go against my rules.
