Maybe they send that crap because they are called numbnut they need to go away sexually those type of wasters
Every directory I have owned, I disabled rejection emails. I only sent emails if it was accepted. This stopped that type of annoyance from happening.
We stopped sending rejection notices for free submissions years ago due to all the arguments and offensive comments. We still have to deal with it for express reviews and that’s more than enough since most express reviews are declined submission.
That's interesting, some people are disabling the rejection mailers. wouldn't it be better to send a reject mail with a norepy address? I sometimes wonder if the owner is reviewing ANY sites at all. I have to go back and monitor their latest sites page and sometimes that can be misleading when they are in bulk submissions business. I have received such mails myself and in rare circumstances I have also sent such mails.
I actually have 3 standard rejection emails, for the most common reasons for rejection. They're pretty specific (site is off-topic, insufficient content or site is under construction, and not enough contact details for a business). But if the website is unlistable for a number of reasons I just won't send them, since it's only really the clueless who take the time to argue about these things. Sensible submitters will usually just take note and move one. Once in a while they even fix the issue and resubmit, particularly if it's just contact details.
I never get this thing happen to me, but I think I will explain that his website is not qualified to be published in my directory.
I often get them. I even got one from a reputable member of this forum, who has 10k+posts. Demanding to know why his MFA scraper blog with offtopic paid posts was rejected
I don't know why people bother with answering rejection mails from free directories. It takes longer to write such a mail than submitting to the next directory in line..
yeah it's true. no one would like to hear their own submission was rejected particularly for paid directories.
disabling these emails is the answer noone needs that hassle when its a paid submission never mind a free one there's also the person who mails you asking if you would please remove his site from your directory .i.e the competitor mails you and asks you to remove his competitors site
