Hmm... You better ask him what is he doing before you website be banned in SEs. I thinks its impossible to RANK WELL in certain KWs without ANY BACKLINKS.

In my opinion he may have given link of your page to one of the those sites which is getting more traffic and from there only may be you are getting good ranking and traffic and alexa ranking.

 

I think he might have done lots of free directory submission, article submission, etc for bringing on way link to ur site. and with that help ur site must have increased alexa rank

 

He must have worked hard on " Onpage Optimization " must have tried hard to get backlink links and must have promoted your site on different forums for your keywords

How does a SEO Expert guarantee first or second page ranking in Google or Yahoo for particular keywords?

 

if you get traffic then your good if you dont get emails and prospects them dump the seo because your loosing money.............

 

It's foolish to guarantee 1 and 2 spots in search engines because SEO people have no control over the final outcome. I think it is safe to say that you can help a website owner get in the top 10 results only after you know their needs and targeted keywords.

Other than that, I can poop in a bag and guarantee it's fresh and market it that way as long as I back it. One should always read the terms of service for any guaranteed results. It should be fully explained what realistic results are guaranteed in what kind of time frame. If an SEO company cannot provide terms of service to the potential client, then they are probably just blowing smoke and you should consider another one.

How old is your site. If it is under 8 months old personally I think you are wasting money on SEO
