    Ok here is what happens.
When I plug in my USB Hard disk, and go to 'My Computer', the hard disk appears as thee different drives :S There are Drive D, K and J, but none of them contains my actual hard disk files.. There are some very important files on my hard disk which I need now.. Could anyone come up with a solution please? Any suggestion/idea/reply is most welcome. Thanks in advance. Rep will be added for all replies. :D

This is one way to see how many partition you really have, true. But for some reason, some partition might not be viewable.

Should mention what version of OS that you are using, whether its a XP,VISTA or any ?? With just mentioning My Computer, it could be, you are using some other OS with many possiblity.

There are some software which allow you to retrieve files, or even partition that you are unable to view or retrieve, such as different partition table format, or even formated hard disk/usb drive. This software are also can be found via google, searching for disk recovery software. Eventhough you can view some partition on the usb harddisk, and some couldn't, with the software, you can retrieve or know what partition table format it is using.

2ndly, if you mentioned D, K, J, did you formated your USB drive/harddisk? Should D be your ROM Drive? How could it jump to K, and J. Unless you have manually assign those drive letter to the USB Drive, or you have other internal hard disk, and ROM was on E, F, G, H.
