Food recipes site, GREAT DOMAIN + SEtraffic

I'm selling http://www.getrecipes.net
I've bought this site 2 months ago at SP, but i haven't time to monetize it.
The site recieves 150 uniques per month, mostly from MSN.
The design is unique (as far as I know), and it has over 1000 recipes (with no copyright problems).
The domain is registered at registerfly until 2007-02-16

The site isn't in google index yet so it has a great potential.

No there is no sitemap built, but there are many tools on the web to make one easy.

The layout isn't original it's I think it's a free template on some site. I forget what site it's on but there was a site on sitepoint what had the same layout. When asked if the layout was unique the seller said it was. A few post later someone found the site which gave this layout away for free or for 5$ I forget. Still a great site though.

 

are you sure bigrollerdave ? I bought the site from SP, maybe you saw the same thread?

I'm almost 100% I will look for the thread. I actually though about buying the template from the site when I saw it but then I thought I didn't need it so I didn't.

 

I can't find the thread though or I can't find the site that sells it so maybe I just dreamed all that lol. I swear I've seen it though but I have no proof.

Don't let what I said decied your bid. I'm not 100% sure if it's true or not. I just recall seeing it but this was a long time ago. I just looked for like 2 hours and came up with nothing. So if it was being sold there isn't many sites out there. None that I could find atleast.

 

I bid namely for 2 reasons: 1) a (hopefully) unique template and 2) the age of the domain (despite no pagerank because of a history of sitting on the domain and serving up ads).

I already run a few recipe sites and know how to get traffic to them and monetize it. if the template is not unique, it has less value to me (though it shouldn't to others...in fact I have a few sites that don't have unique templates and are doing quite well).

I had also searched around for the template before I bid but hadn't found it.
