I would comment on yoga blogs and forums.

As for the article, it would depend on the amount of interest in your niche. If you do submit your article definitely submit to ezinearticles and goarticles

    Good Luck

Many women like yoga. You can promote your yoga site in women forums or housewives forums.

you could also find authority sites and write articles for them in exchange for text links back to your site.

    1) PPC
    2) Article Marketing
    3) Comment in related forums
    4) Advertise in ezines
    5) Write a press release
    6) Get on Twitter
    7) Offer free content to other sites

As for your question, it's a bit like "How long is a piece of string". An article submission could generate very few visitors or thousands, so it's impossible to answer. Try it and find out, it's only going to take 30 minutes out of your life.

I would definitely look into the exercise forums. If you can point them to quality posts and articles, your traffic will slowly increase. Hang around the most populated forums and post several times a day if you can.

    Just my two cents.

How come you don't have a link to your yoga site in any way, shape or form here?

Yoga is dynamic so use video marketing.

Don't forget offline marketing. Advertise in health and fitness and other related magazines. You could even contact gym's and fitness centres to see if you can send them some material promoting your site for them to display to their members.

I agree with jpearce 100%, I own a successful yoga site and have a video gallery incorporated that pulls keyword targeted yoga videos from youtube and this is great for traffic.

Also consider making a few short videos that are simply picture slides with some music behind it, and your website address watermarked throughout the entire video - and your url in the video description.

Another thing you should consider is doing your keyword research to find high search/low competition long-tail phrases that are easy to rank for. then include these phrases in post titles/post content. You will then easily rank for top spot on these keywords and gain that natural, targeted organic traffic from Google etc... 75% of my traffic comes from keyword research and search engine placement.

Hope this helps - good luck!

I would definetly write some articles. Then participate in some forums. And then research to find out the sites that yogis go to and advertise on there.

Put "yoga" and one more keyword in the title. It will be easy to rank high with the two keywords together in the title and some good backlinks.

Props to TheAtHomeCouple. I've just spent some time researching long tail keywords and have dredged up at least 14 of them to start with.
