Poor QS might occur because of several factors, which include:

Keywords for the certain adgroup are not relevant to your ad itself.
The ad itself is not relevant enough to the website you are advertising.

Note that if you put an ad in English that leads to your Russian website, quality score would probably be damaged by it since the keywords in your ad and the keywords and content on your landing page are totally different and in different languages.

Also, be sure to make a specific ad group for certain keywords and include these keywords in your ad. It will make them bold, and will also affect your QS.

I'm guessing that it is probably because you are using more than one language on your page. Maybe if your navigation, content, ads, and keywords were all in the same language you'd be OK. If you fix these things, you will have to wait for google to revisit your pages and redetermine relevancy.

I agree. its most likely a mix between your landing pages might need to be optimized a bit more and your campaign structure needs some work

While there are surely other aspects that need to be honed as well the language issue is your biggest problem.

Is your navigation bar always in English? That seems like it might be confusing to people who are visiting your site.

I'm facing the same problem and its becoming very annoying. The QS always starts out high (7-8) and overnight almost every keyword is around 2 or 3. I heard that the initial ranking is simply a temporary until they can fully crawl the site. I created tight ad groups, relevant ads, relevant web site, good linking and meta content, etc. Just can't seem to get it right I guess..

    Any other tips?

mstef: Your problem might be different. You might be getting ranked highly by the Google Bots on your QS, but when a human visits (under 2 weeks for new domains) they might be tagging you for a variety of things. Some examples of things they might tag you for are popovers, not having a privacy policy/TOS, etc. You might think that you did something wrong, but the reality might just be that a real person came by and saw something they didn't like.

Your keywords and ad content must be relevant. And also the content of your website where you are going to take the visitors must be relevant too.

at times google doesn't know how well the keywords would work so they take their time picking the right quality score.

Is it possible that the topic of your site is something that Google objects to?
