Page Rank 0???

Hey guys, I've had my sites for a while, and have tried to add contect etc for a while and still all my sites are page ranked 0...i don't know whats going on...

do I have to submit my sites into a directory? or register with google? im pretty sure I did already..but nothing is changing...

How long is "a while"? What is your link building strategy ?

 

Your sites have hardly 1-2 google backlinks, you need backlinks to get page rank also request for reconsideration in google webmaster tools, may help

 

You might need to consider building up backlinks to those websites dude

 

same goes with me, i think u need to give him as nowadays, millions of people doing basic SEO LOL

 

0 is better than nothing,what should you do is still update your site ,increase backlinks.

the advice about backlinks is quite correct. Nothing helps you more than backlinks (and unique content, of course!)

 

I think this guy is asking about what backlinks to use as well. Its really something the OP can learn more about in the backlinks forum, but I'd just like to answer the OP's question really quickly:

Yes, web directories are important, but some are more important than others (those with pagerank). Also, Google seems to be putting less emphasis on web directories these days, and if you're going to submit to them, I would suggest submitting hundreds steadily and consistently over time.

I would also suggest looking at your competitors and doing some research on them using backlink checkers. See where their backlinks are coming from, and then go get backlinks from similar places, or the same wbsites. These backlinks will be responsible for your competitors high place in the search engines, so you want to immitate the best pieces of their strategy.

Why worry about PR? It seems Google has dropped tons of PR of many sites in recent days, but nobody's bothered.

I think you need to wait for some time before running into conclusions.
try building quality content and website will slowly but surely start linking to it

 

Pr0 can mean insufficient backlinks to have a higher pr value or a penalization.

 

It's not that much. Try to comment on dofollow blogs

Btw, my blog http://themelib.com/ is PR6 and I enabled Top Commentators widget, you can get a VERY HIGH QUALITY backlink from my blog by commenting there.
