I have gone through a lot of posts today to compare Clickband and Paydotcom. It seems that there are an equal number of posts claiming that PDC doesn't pay and Clickbank doesn't pay. I am trying to decide between the two, but there are so many bad comments about both that I can't decide which is the lesser of the two evils. Is there something better that I'm not seeing? Are they both a waste of time? Should I avoid them altogether? I was considering doing PPC (which I've also never done before) and pointing to some of these marketplace pages. Is that even a good idea? I'm pretty new to this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know where you got the idea that Clickbank doesn't pay, Clickbank is one of the companies that always pays on time. I'd say go for Clickbank, it's better than PDC.
yup they both do pay, but somehow I prefer Clickbank and Im not too sure if PDC has weekly payments now...
another good way is pay per impression instead of click places like adsdaq pay you min per 1000 impressions...no one clicks and you still monetize
The problem with PDC is that you have to wait for the publisher to pay you, you have to wait for each publisher to pay you for your service. So the publisher might cheat you and not pay you if he's not honest and you cannot do much about it. On Clickbank, you don't have to wait for the publisher to provide payments, because Clickbank writes the paychecks and pays you itself
Well, I feel a little better about it now. Has anyone tried paying for clicks to a clickbank link? (Like using adwords to point to clickbank hoplink) Or is this not allowed?
This is allowed. There are lots of people that use Pay Per Click as a way of promotion of Clickbank affiliate programs.
