I have been rarely earning a dime with my image hosting.. I had a picture posting blog that i used to earn more than what im earning with image hosting... I should earn more with my image hosting site because I get 1000 visitors everyday, alot more than my photoblog, and I earn $0.01 with adbrite and nothing in Adsense although i get 1000+ impressions... Can anyone help me monetize my earning for imagehosting website?
Maybe, your textual content isn't so good and it dificults to get relevant ads. You can write short articles and show in each page. It'd help Adsense to know which is your content. Try, too, other basic rules: a) To change placement and colors; b) To change formats; c) And to get more traffic (I know, you have 1000+ visitors per day, but... as more traffic, better, do you agree? ). Image hosting site doesn't convert very well I think, even if it does the CPC is usually very low. You might want to use your image hosting site as a traffic generator for your other site which have good niche for adsense.

you have to get atleast 1 cent per click on such sites.your ad placements are probably very bad.just change the colour of ads to red , have a white website background.its better to keep link units [ 2 of them ]
Apart from the ad placement, another factor would be your ads are not attractive to the visitors due to the keywords on the page. try to put some title and description or maybe tags for the images, so that the ads will be more relavant.
For Image/photo related websites, Adbrite's "Full Page Ads" will work. The Ad will totally conver the pages and gives a chance to earn more, if clicked by the viewer. Recently I came to know about EXITJUNCTION Ads, which works after the viewer/user leaves your site and earn you money.

I have just setup another image hosting site the 1st one is a normal hosting and we have adbrite it does produce a small amount of revenue but we mainly have been using it as a launch pad for other sites and the latest one we have is a adult image site and this we are adding the adbrite Black Label ads on it to earn revenue and have just signed up to juicyads for this site.I am not sure about these full page ads as i have got to be honest yes they could well pull in more revenue but when i visit these sites and i get these ads i get annoyed so i am thinking that if people visit our sites we may loose a small amount of revenue but they keep coming back because we dont have these full ads if that makes sense.
