    Hi.

I have a question - since PR is a Google generated concept, does Yahoo consider it in its algorythm for ranking websites or does it have its own similar measurement of trust/importance etc?

Yahoo! and Google for me, has a different algorithm on valuing websites. As far i know they Yahoo didn't release like Google PR. For me they Yahoo! is more valuing on the contents.

A website's pr has no value in yahoo because yahoo uses a different algorithm.

Yahoo does consider a site's backlinks for ranking purposes, especially if they are very high quality and related links.

Yahoo has different criteria in evaluating backlinks so I think sites that have high PR have no bear on yahoo...what's important to them is the quality and relevancy of the backlinks.

No Yahoo People won;t consider it. They mostly considers title and meta details of the page.
