why aren't clicks showing up?

I use a tracking software to record my visitors, and what ads they click. I have noticed that not all clicks are being recorded and I am not being creditied.

I know sometimes you see clicks under channels and no cash is awarded, but I am not getting creditied for 10% of the clicks, any idea why.

Are you or someone on your IP address clicking the ads?

That happens to me too, I use adlogger, it showed I got 9 clicks today but adsense shows only 1. PSAs don't show up on my site and I never click on my own ads unless its accidental which rarely happens.

Most articles I've read about click fraud suggest about 10-20% of all ad clicks are fraudulent. (Some people suggest it is even higher.) Therefore it would stand to reason that only about 80-90% of clicks you record will be credited. Don't forget click fraud isn't just people clicking on their own ads. Also some sites are more prone to click fraud than others so the actual percentages will vary.

If you are looking at stats for today it could just be that the stats haven't updated with the latest information yet since they don't show in real time.

One thing I know is that it has been updated for sure, I don't think google takes 3 hours to update. Its been showing this for since I checked it this morning.

Doesn't google still show the clicks, but they just don't pay you for them if they are considered fraud?

no they don't show all the fraudulent clicks.
Plus the adlogger would record such a click as I click on the ad but I hold the mouse button and I move the mouse outside the ad and then I release the button, adsense wouldn't record it. Like if I try to drag and drop the ad on the page. Or maybe a right click would be recorded as a click by adlogger and not by google.

I once spent a whole thread trying to explain this exact thing to another member. He just couldn't grasp what I meant when I say these tracking software just "guesses" the clicks by the behavior of the user. I guess most of the people who buys these things never bothers to read the fine print. :)

guesses? be more specific please. Does it randomly assign clicks for visitors

I use addfreestats .com as my tracker, it tells me which visitors click on ads and what ad they click on. Does Google pay for international clicks from all countires

i never click my ads and never get PSAs, my site is sports-facts .com

    thanks for the help

Again, any software you use to "track" Adsense clicks are purely guessing based on user behavior. This is because Adsense is the only one who can track what gets clicked on their links, and they're not sharing that with anyone. How more specific do you want it? Senserely already told you everything you need to know.

Ok, now it rose to 15 clicks on adlogger and 3 at adsense. The clicks that adsense didn't count, most of them showed the targeted ad the visitor clicked.

I hope it was just the visitor not actually meaning to click on it, it makes me feel better somehow :(
Well not really, my earnings from adsense so far today: $0.16 <-- I consider that to beat most of my daily earnings lol.
