Hi I am still very new to wordpress and I have 2 sites http://pinayjade.com and http://www.mommawannabe.com

I am wondering if they are SEO friendly and how do I check that? What else can I do to better my sites for SEO.

Oh and I just installed the All in one SEO plugin from wordpress, would that help? Or do I still need to insert some in my codes and how do I do that?
Also where do I put codes(tracking codes etc) in my template - is it the main index template?

Looking forward to your tips and advises. Thanks in advance.

Your All in one SEO looks like it needs to be tweaked a little. The purpose of that plugin is to make the URL's SEO friendly while also having unique page descriptions, keywords and titles.
From looking at your site I see "pinayjade.com/archives/429" This URL is not going to help you much. Next looking at your right navigation I would give some more though as to what your visitors want compared to what YOU want. Do your visitors care who your recent visitors were or how much spam you have received or who is viewing your site from where. Or is this for your info? Personally I would weed down on some of what you having going on on that side. This might also help in making your site look a little more professional and less confusion making people more likely to link back. If you want to have this info on hand then may I suggest adding Google analytics to your site. Lastly in your footer bar I see an image that does not relate to your site "that I saw" and might stop people from linking to you as just having that image on your site makes a statement. that image is the pot leaf on either sides of the stones. I would remove this.

One tip I would SERIOUSLY give you - Have relevant <title> tags for your homepage - Something that is keyterm related, but not keyterm stuffed.

You can do that via the allinoneseo plugin page I think (wp-admin > Settings then 'allinoneseo'

Having unique and relevant <title> tags for your homepage is seriously important in my opinion... - But again, DO NOT KEYTERM STUFF!!!

Also, your RSS feeds (for example: http://pinayjade.com/?feed=rss) - Ping them. Either use a free service (kping.com) or some software such as rsssubmit.

NEXT: You alt tags - when you add an image, make sure you add alt tags to it ;-)

Just a couple of things there... Hope it helps :)

@ Amxfan - Thanks for that advice. I will be cleaning up my sidebar widgets.

About the url - I changed it now to url-date-post title , is that how it should be to have it seo friendly?

    About the image
    - what statement does it give? I am just using a template but I will try to take it away if it is giving me a bad image.

    @ mikeid22 - I have added a title tag. I hope I did it right.

I will start pinging my sites too - can you tell me why is this important? Thanks

What do you mean by this? " You alt tags - when you add an image, make sure you add alt tags to it "

Thanks and hope you bear with me. Looking forward to your answers.
