He's doing something wrong. His tactics are awful. We have the best midfield in the world, yet we continually thump the ball over the top of them to our huge striker who prefers it in to his feet anyway. Every time we go a goal up he makes defensive substitutions to try and hold the lead instead of going for another goal. We then always concede and are pinned in our own half for the vast majority of the second half against teams we should beat comfortably. This is the best generation of English players for mabe 20-30 years, yet Sven continues to waste them. I'd prefer to play either of these formations, but I know it'll never happen, Robinson Carragher Ferdinand Terry Carrick Lennon Beckham Gerrard Lampard Cole Rooney Robinson Beckham Ferdinand Terry Cole Carrick Lennon Gerrard Ferdinand Cole Rooney
Croatia V Australia Preview With Harry Kewell being cleared to play after facing a possible 4 match ban Australia have a full squad available to them, although there are six players only yellow cards including Tim Cahill, Craig Moore and Vinnie Grella, something coach Guus Hiddink will be mindful of. Australia have a chance to create history Friday morning AEST, by entering the round of 16 in only its second World Cup since 1974. A draw is all that is required against the Croatians, although captain Mark Viduka has said the Socceroos will be going for the win. Meanwhile for Croatia, there is a touch of Aussie in the team, with Anthony Seric, Joey Didiluca, and Joseph Simunic all Australian born, and for various reason chose to play for Croatia. Key defender Robert Kovac will be suspended for the clash after picking up his second yellow of the tournament agaisnt Japan. The Balkans nation will be hoping that the form of key striker Dado Prso improves along with Werder Bremen's Ivan Klasnic and they will need to be at the top of their game if they are to beat Australia. The Croatians have not yet found their scoring touch, and if they are to progress to the last 16 they need to find the back of the net potentially more than once. Australia will be no pushover as it showed in its 2-0 loss to Brazil the other day, whilst Croatia have been one of the weaker sides at WC 2006.
OK, let me write the review of the game from the point of Croat (please don't use the term "Balkans", because Croats in lots of cases find it insulting)... I'll write some facts as a reply to previous post: First of all, Croatia is definitely better team than Australia. results and tradition are obviously on our side. I'll give some examples if needed... Second, there are more Croats in Australia than Aussies in Croatia: Mark Viduka is married to Croat, his parents are Croats, first european club he played in was Dinamo Zagreb. Tony Popovic is also Croat, as well as Zeljko Kalac, Jason Culina and Josip Skoko (his first european team was Hajduk Split). I'd rather say that there is Croatian touch in Australia's team not the opposite. BTW, Anthony Seric played in Hajduk Split but he won't play as well as Joey Didulica won't play in the WC. Joe Simunic never said he was Australian (not the case with Seric and Didulica!), he always said he is Croat who was born there. One more thing, how many Africans are in France national team? Zidane is French? Sorry THESE are the real facts. OK, let's go on... Robert Kovac is very important to our team but we have other quality players to take his place. You may Google for "Stjepan Tomas" and check about his career... Let's put last two paragraphs in the opposite way: Croats have problems with scoring, and that's the fact but also they got only one in their net by Kaka (Aussies gor 2+1). If you've seen the matches with Brasil and Japan you could see how many chances they had and how well they played... From my point of view, I am very positive about tomorrow's match and we'll see the comments after the match Cheers everyone! P.S. Don't get me wrong, I do like Australian team and if there was a chance for us and them to go in last 16 I would have been satisfied the most, and if they beat us I'll support Australia with whole my heart! I just had to react to previous "review" because I am sure people like to see both sides of the story...
I think Italy have a strong side on winning either team. But can't tell, cos the ball is round, Australia and Croatia are strong too.
So kawaii, hmm sure wish can twist the cheek.. hehe "Goal!!!" yell by this kid. Great spirit at this age. Is he Beckham's son
