If window xp cd has virus/trojan horse!

If a window xp pack 2 cd has virus or trojan horse in cd and i format win by using that cd then will my system also have virsuses and i can never delete them?

 

If the CD is legitimate it doesn't have a virus. If it is warez and also has a trojan then you are in a tough situation, but it is fixable with an anti-virus after installation.

 

Yeah, thats warez cds and contains some trojon horses, virus and malware. What if it will not delete all these suspicious programs after installation? I tried 9 cds and all are sick

 

Either get a legitimate copy, or a warez copy from a better source site, or install the bad warez copy and try to fix it.

jalpari. If its a privated one having viruses then that will make copy in registry and it become very difficult to remove from their.
There are only two options:
1. After installing with your f**king cd use antivirus like kaspersky,bit defender,avira, norton. Some of them required to be updated so connect your system with net and then run antivirus. Check out task manager and notice any unwanted process is running or not.
2. Buy another one or use linux(ubantu). if don't want to spend money. Itz totally free and less prone to virus.

 

Scan your entire CD, using some good anti-virus program.

 

Come on you cannot clean a CD, The best way is trash the CD & get a clean one, This is the reason why i like Legal Softwares

 

You cannot clean the CD though you found the virus from there, because the CD is only readable.

 

just download and iso image file from somewhere and burn it on CD , then Full format your PC , then reinstall windows

 

The Best option is to install with your CD and then scan ur PC after installation with a nice antivirus fully updated.
2nd thing is that if u use these kind of suspicious CDs, never use keyboard while log in into your mail accounts, paypal account or net banking, always use your "on screen Keyboard".
so you'll at least be prevented from keyloggers.
For on screen Keyboard go to> RUN than type these> c:\windows\system32\osk.exe n ur on screen Keyboard will start.

 

ya get another Xp from net or friend and check before installing if it has virus,
and if you download , so extracr the iso and make a antivirus and trojan scan,

 

It might be Downloaded from a Warez Site or Torrent..

 

Bah...just find a legit copy. They're only like 50 bucks now. You don't even need an XP disk with a service pack on it...just download the SP's later.
