What happens when a fly falls into a coffee cup? The Italian - throws the cup and walks away in a fit of rage. The Frenchman - takes out the fly, and drinks the coffee. The Chinese - eats the fly and throws away the coffee. The Russian - drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge. Israeli - sells the coffee to the Frenchman, the fly to the Chinese, buys himself a new cup of coffee and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee. The Palestinian - blames the Israeli for the fly falling in his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, and the Russian are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he should give away his cup of coffee to the Palestinian
Addendum Digital point Guy - Puts Adsense ads on the fly, writes an e-book on how he sold the coffee for 10,000 $ and then sells the coffee cup on eBay [And scams the buyer by not sending the cup]. And finally proceeds to blame people of another country/religion/state/family for his self inflicted misery. You're in DP P&R forums, not utopia.
Since you mentioned the fly and compare it to israeli army, I would like to add benefit for this thread so that it becomes readable. The Prophet prayer and peace be upon him said "If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease." Note: you dip it, not eat it or drink it. It is not must for you to do so, but if you want to drink, then you should do so to avoid illness of the fly (or israeli army as the OP named them) best wishes.
The Israeli - Sells the coffee and re-lends the money at usurious interests rates to non-Israelis. The Palestinian - Is still waiting for his coffee because blockades have been blocking goods shipments since... There, a little more realistic
Boy don't you like when you can clearly see antisemitism out in the open.. (The old Jew being greedy from Nazi Germany) The Palestinian - Buys rockets and places them in cup shipments, fires them at Israelis, Israelis set up blockades in order to check for rockets, Palestinian cries about not receiving his coffee cup.
Antisemitism ? lol, read your history books more. But it was long before Nazi Germany, in fact it has nothing to do with Nazi Germany. Hint: When Jesus turned over the money lenders tables. The Catholic church had a restriction on lending money at interest, while the Jewish faith had no such ban. There was a time when you could only be a money lender if you were Jewish.
Exactly. More people need to look at history and the facts instead of just saying whatever is on their minds or what they saw on the news. It is time to start thinking for yourselves. Also, I hate how every time someone says something that isn't Isreal-friendly, claims of antisemitism are made. By this logic anyone criticizing anything means they hate that group. Certainly not true, considering I criticize my government a lot, yet love my country (America.)
This is the first time I said anything about Antisemitism in the whole forum, and you can check that. Hitler used cartoons in his newspapers picturing the Jew as a greedy man who keeps loaning money with insane rates. That's what the basic 'Antisemitism' picture was built on, and that's exactly what he said. Biblical and religious things don't really apply now days, and everyone can loan money, and yet he still uses that image for the Jew.
I am not calling you out specifically out on the antisemitism thing, I was saying it generally to everyone on the forum who throws the world around so lightly. And for the depiction of the Jew, I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think alethides meant it in a harmful way, more just a satiric comedy type of thing. Alethides didn't conjure up the image that Hitler tried to create, instead just using the historical fact that Jews have played a big part in the history of banking and lending (correct me if I'm wrong with these assumptions alethides.) Bottom line: he/she isn't trying to be racist with these remarks.
