Any shared hosting package would be good to begin with. I would recommend you Bluehost.

I use a1whs.com. I have been with them for over a year and have been very pleased. They have super quick support and I have only had one downtime for 11 minutes in a year.

I use the $6.99 reseller but the cheap plan will work for two blogs and you can always upgrade later.

Whatever you decide to use , Do Not use WebHostingPad .. they are absolutely terrible, and they have a huge problem with automation processes. I had 8 crons running at different intervals at an average of every 8 hours , and just kept deleting all of them every time I returned them.
They said that I was using too much of the server's resources.

    Anybody but webhostingpad , gary!

Yes, im going to start a new blog soon and wanted to know what the best option is for choosing a web host?

I have already got a domain at godaddy? but i heard that you should only register domains there and not web hosting? Or is godaddy a option to?

No, stay away from godaddy when it comes to hosting.
They have a very wierd control panel, also limited database import size :S
