I started a video site where i embed manually the videos from youtube. And I am thinking to put adsense ads in it. IS it against the TOS of Adsense??

Yes it is against the TOS, by "Copyrighted Material" policy.

Ok so you want to "borrow" there content and at the same time you want to collect money from them threw adsence .... yea ok

If your site doesnt have a place where people can upload there own original videos then your site is no better then a "made for adsence site".

    It is somewhat legit.

If google bans you then you have the right to take legal action against them.

    It's not illegal.

These guys who previously answered obviously have no clue what they're talking about. There are dozens and even more sites who get along perfectly running AdSense and embedding YouTube videos.

I think it is ok as long as you put a link back to youtube. Are you using Google Api for the youtube videos?

Legal or illegal? Can somebody bring us the phrase from TOS (Adsense or Youtube) where it's says it's illegal?

As long as you're displaying YouTube videos in a way that's compliant with YouTube's policies, and the content of the videos complies with adsense's policies (e.g. no adult content, etc.), you're welcome to put adsense on pages with embedded YouTube videos.

Keep in mind that the adsense crawlers can only read the text-based content of your pages, so adding video won't affect your ad targeting, but you must believe that video content can enhance the overall user experience and site appeal.

What you're describing is very much against Youtube's Terms of Service.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1133820

So to answer your question, Google won't like it.

"We've updated our Terms of Use to clarify what kinds of uses of the website and the YouTube Embeddable Player are permitted. We don't want to discourage you from putting the occasional YouTube video in your blog to comment on it or show your readers a video you like, even if you have general purpose ads somewhere on your blog. We will, however, enforce our Terms of Use against, say, a website that does nothing more than aggregate a bunch of embedded YouTube videos and intentionally tries to generate ad revenue from them."

If I'm not mistaken, what I've bolded it exactly what you want to do.

Your talking about youtube clone and this man talking about wp blog (there is a big diffrence between)

So to answer your question, Google won't like it.

And what uv bolded thats against youtube TOS thats from agaresmedia.com guide and by the way this script (php video site) is 100% against YT TOS
unless (like i said before ) you got some articles and content beside videos
