Thats not what i see looking at multiple serp's right now. Know what? just did that for 3 years straight. Almost everyday. And i just spam ranking top 30.
I agree with the "patience" thing. I used to work as an SEO and all my clients became impatient because they were spoon fed all the misinformation that exists on forums and so on. They wanted immediate results and would happily do dodgy tactics "because someone they know has told them". They went to other SEO companies and still got more lies. Real shame the industry is full of this tosh.
Google killed white hat SEO. Article marketing, social bookmarking submission, directory submission are so heavily devalued that in most cases it's not worth spending time on it (for google serps). They give way too much weight to the authority factor, making it too hard for newcomers. So if you have a new website even in a lightly saturated market you will never see any traffic unless you do some slightly shady SEO or have revolutionary content that will go viral.
I have white-hat methods that I use that could get your website to rank in the top 10 results for certain keywords in 1-3 weeks. i love new websites because they get a quick boost for being new as a trial. see this example http://www.google.com/search?q=west...eid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B2GGFB_enUS264 both clients in 1 and 2 positions are mine and wshac is a site I developed less than 2 months ago. Both clients have made their ROI 10 fold already. It's all white-hat. Nothing shady.
lol. If your serious, I should sell you all my old blackhat scripts. They actually worked really well in their day and still could but would have to be set to a lower threshold than when I last used them. My scripts used to create unlimited custom SEO'd pages on-the-fly. The only problem, is figuring out what threshold works for your website before being triggered as a possible spammer. I used to have manual reviews from google employees on my site about once every 2 weeks from over doing it. So I suppose I was in the grey area because i never got banned. Just scared enough to shut the scripts off and stick with whitehat.
What's up with the secrecy? They're white hat. Lets hear them then. How does Lavinco rank a brand new website? I'm pretty sure a piece of it will fall into the gray hat area, but I can not be too sure, obviously I don't know what I'm talking about.
It's not secret. There's all the info right here already. I have already personally told how I do this in other threads. it becomes redundant repeating it everyday. I love helping other SEO'ers out because I know the frustrations involved after doing this for 8 years now. However, I can only speak what I know and if someone does not understand the language or lingo behind the process, that's where I stop explaining as in other threads and on other forums. There's on page and off page SEO techniques that have to be done. They are different from each other but work together. If someone does not understand web development or at least basic html, then they wont get the onpage process. When I have a client that I implement SEO for, there is a standard 140 step process that I go through just during the setup phase. Even if I gave away my every step, the average person would not understand over half of the steps. If someone does not understand html, they need to either go to school or self teach themselves with the proper educational material and software. That's not something I'm ever going to teach someone. It's too involved.
A dofollow link is considered as a vote to a website and when you are building links to your site you are just voting for yourself and manupulating the results which you shouldn't be doing. Lots of people consider this as white hat, but it's not so white in essence.
Who are you talking to? Building quality backlinks is as white-hat as it gets. Plus, I don't have to rely on any backlinks for new sites to place high in the serps for many keywords. It's all internal structure when I build new sites. When I use backlinks, it's to secure the position and/or to get higher placement for more competitive phases. People are so focused on backlinks, they often overlook the power of, or don't understand how to, properly setup internal linking. For all you greenhorns out there, I really suggest that you study Google's most recent US patents and try to translate them from theory as best you can. You would be surprised how much google offers themselves. Plus take a look at basic SEO by google themselves. They offer a useful starter guide to those that still need the basics. http://www.google.com/webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf
Don't mean to ruin you theory but 51.000 competition is for my kid besides real competition is just 2 results.. If you want to bring examples, bring some 5 Million plus or 10 Million plus competitors. Bring them on Feel free to PM me
Dealing with Google is like having a very rich, very old, very eccentric relative, who's main past-time is watching everything you do. Black hat may get you going for a while, but eventually, if they care, they'll smack you down. White hat is slower, but much more rewarding in the end.
I think you got that backwards. Google has stricter, more advanced thresholds than they used to. Their technology is sensitive enough to detect any kind of spikes and anomalies followed up with a manual review from Google staff if red flagged. I have seen Google, Inc ip addresses in my stats from very specific Google site searches several times, because I used to push the grey envelope all the time. I finally decided that I will stick with white-hat so that I could quit worrying about a ban from the serps. When you host more than one website on one ip address as a webhost, you also put the other sites on your server at risk of a ban too. So as a professional hosting company that also does SEO, you have to consider all your client's risk, not just your own. If you get on the web-spam blacklist at google, not only is your web address banned, but so is your whois info, and possibly the ip that your domain lies on. This is where Google has to manually review some sites, to make sure that an honest web host is not banned for their clients activity. However, if the culprit is the webhost themselves, then all sites can be banned. I know of one example in particular where Google banned 2,000 websites at once from the same owner. Unfortunately, there were a few others on the same ip that fell with him. He was hosting all his own sites and a few others.
So you're basically implying that no-one here knows any SEO or HTML, that's why you won't explain your concepts. You're on a webmaster forum here mate, we DO UNDERSTAND your lingo. Most of us here would understand your 140 step process. I personally think that you won't share it because you know you're shooting yourself in the foot. If you've been in this business for 8 years than you should know that with only ON PAGE factors you won't rank a NEW WEBISTE. That is with the current algorithm whose main focus is domain authority. You can do it with aged and authoritative domains. Your example of ranking is nothing but childish. "west michigan furnace repair" has close to 0 monthly searches and when quoted in google, only one website has these keywords in that particular order. This term could not be more UNCOMPETITIVE.
Black hat because it works and if you know what you are doing you will not get deindexed. I have top 10 rankings in google, yahoo and msn with 100% black hat and have kept those rankings for the last 4 months. I'm not talking 51,000 results ranking either we are talking 19-23,000,000 results. In my opinion people get WAY to deep into it..Why waste your time doing seo using "white hat techniques" when you can rank faster and higher using black hat?
